The internet has been suddenly hit with a storm on a fine Monday morning after separation rumors of the popular 30-year-old singer Ariana Grande and her husband Dalton Gomez are flying their way to the headlines. Fans have been speculating about some trouble in paradise for a long now as Grande was seen on various occasions without her wedding ring, and the rumors just keep getting stronger.
TMZ reported on Monday morning stating that “sources connected to the couple” have confirmed that their relationship “is heading for divorce.” Ariana Grande attended the Wimbledon men’s singles final between Djokovic and Alcaraz just a day before on July 16 and was seen seated between Andrew Garfield and Jonathan Bailey. The pop star also shared pictures from the match and her fun outing specifically with Bailey.
According to the reports, Ariana, and Dalton have been thousands of miles apart since December 2022, when she moved away to start filming for the two-part film adaptation of the musical Wicked. Page Six further reports that the “Thank You, Next” singer and Dalton Gomez “were having problems before January, but they want to remain best friends,” and that the two “came to the decision [of divorce] together.”

Are Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez really getting a divorce?
The pop star and luxury real estate agent first appeared in the public eye together back in January 2020 when they were spotted making out at dinner at Bar Louie in Northridge, CA. They eventually got engaged after 11 months of dating on Dec. 20, 2020, and tied the knot on May 15, 2021, in a private ceremony at Grande’s home in Montecito, California.
The couple received immense love from both fans and celebrities, but people started sensing trouble in their relationship after Ariana Grande was spotted without her diamond wedding ring on her finger multiple times.
Last August, on one such instance, the “Positions” singer shared a makeup tutorial on TikTok with her fingers bare. However, she clearly stated that her wedding ring is “getting cleaned.” The singer speculated that her not wearing her wedding ring might confuse people, so she set things straight by saying,
“I’m just not wearing my wedding right, it’s getting cleaned. I’m not getting a divorce. Before you start, don’t.”
The rumors also seem just rumors for now since the sources claim that the two have been separated since January. But on the other hand, Ariana posted a sweet anniversary story for Dalton on May 25, 2023, on Instagram, confirming that the two are still celebrating their marriage. The story featured one of their wedding pictures with a “2” and a heart on top. She also wrote “I love him so much” with the text “3.5 together,” referring to their time as a couple together.
So far, neither Ariana Grande nor Dalton Gomez has addressed the separation rumors. However, Ariana Grande still has pictures and videos together with Dalton on her Instagram. Until the two confirm it, fans are hopeful that the rumors don’t turn out to be true.
