Meanwhile, its building arcs and individual stories set within, like Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. As the continuity expands, in-universe tales like Captain Marvel, Black Panther, and Ant-Man are getting their own progression through sequels that take place within Multiverse Saga.

Kang has our minds on Loki Season 2 and by extension Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, and it’s because of how he has been teased as the next big bad of the franchise and the fixation on Kang’s motive to unleash chaos upon the multiverse. However, another offshoot is shaping up another otherworldly expansion of the MCU.

The Avengers expanded the Infinity Saga; the X-Men could expand the Mutant Saga; Eternals teased a cosmic evolution of the franchise, and then there is a supernatural-horror element in continuity that’s been planting seeds.

It began with WandaVision. The story mostly unraveled Wanda’s arc in the aftermath of Endgame, with Kathryn Hahn’s Agatha Harkness adding a layer of horror, before Moon Knight and Eternals furthered the mix. While the former was a stand-alone venture without much blending with the rest of the MCU, the latter featured Black Knight and Blade, both of whom have ties to Marvel Comics’ components featuring dark magic, beasts, creatures, captured souls, and all the rest.

Not long ago, Werewolf By Night brought even more of those supernatural-horror elements into the MCU. We now know that creatures like Man-Thing have existed for centuries, and there is an extended shore of continuity that was untouched until now. However, their connections to characters like Dracula, Mephisto, and Ghost Rider offer the potential to develop a different aspect of the MCU that would surely appease the fans.

While Marvel Studios has yet to offer an update on the future of these stories, a Reddit brought it into active discussion, pointing out how it can expand beyond the Multiverse Saga.

Though Werewolf By Night wasn’t on the post, a comment got inclusive with that character.

Another comment added names like Magik, featured in The New Mutants, to the fore, meaning the multiverse can bring an element of magic into the MCU.

We have almost forgotten that Ghost Rider did make his MCU debut with Gabriel Luna portraying Robbie Reyes.

Marvel Studios has Blade in development, and so is Agatha: Coven of Chaos – two major entries that can bring these visions to some form of life. The priority is indeed the Multiverse Saga; however, it will be good to have a project or two that expands this particular aspect of the MCU alongside its main milestones.
