We have seen the good, the bad and the ugly of celebrity contestants on Dancing With the Stars, but what would happen if the best of the best faced off against one another for the Mirrorball Trophy?

With each season of the Emmy Award-winning series having at least a few standouts, fans of the show have been advocating for a Dancing With the Stars all-star season for quite some time, causing our wheels to start turning…

Using the pros from season 33 of Dancing With the Stars — which wrapped at the end of 2024, with Joey Graziadei and Jenna Johnson emerging victorious — AND keeping Mirrorball Trophy recipients off of the list, here’s who we would want each pro to be paired with for a Dancing With the Stars all-star season (if it were our decision, of course).

Ezra Sosa and Anna Delvey

As much as we HATE putting con artist Anna Delvey on the all-star list, with Ezra Sosa only having one partner during his Dancing With the Stars career so far, we have no choice but to pair the two together for a potential Dancing With the Stars all-star season. Who knows, though — if Ezra’s season 34 partner (social media sensation Trisha Paytas, perhaps?) is all-star material, perhaps we will make a modification to our list…

Pasha Pashkov and Ariana Madix

From Carole Baskin to Teresa Giudice, Pasha Pashkov has had his fair share of less-than-ideal pairings on Dancing With the Stars, with the exception of one of his celebrity dance partners: Ariana Madix. On season 32, the Vanderpump Rules star was an obvious frontrunner for the Mirrorball Trophy, but after facing some injuries that inhibited some of her mobility towards the end of the season, Ariana and Pasha’s lackluster scores (especially so late in the game) caused the pair to take home a third-place finish instead. Recovering from her injuries and even serving a brief stint on Broadway — as Roxie Hart in the musical Chicago — we are confident that she would bounce back into the Dancing With the Stars ballroom better than ever.

Britt Stewart and Daniel Durant

Britt Stewart and Daniel Durant were not only partners on season 31 of Dancing With the Stars, but they might have created the greatest love story we have ever seen on the show. Finishing in fifth place — getting eliminated just shy of finale night — Daniel and Britt had chemistry that was truly undeniable throughout their Dancing With the Stars journey, defying all the odds as the pair navigated Daniel’s inability to hear. Said chemistry managed to stem beyond the ballroom, as the pair pursued a romantic relationship with one another post-show — with Britt even learning sign language for her brand new boo — with the CODA star eventually popping the question. Needless to say, we would love to see this pair dance together again, this time as a husband-and-wife duo.

Emma Slater and Drew Scott

With 16 partners during her Dancing With the Stars career so far, it is tough choosing an all-star partner for Emma Slater, but HGTV’s Drew Scott is calling our name. On season 25, the Property Brothers, Brother vs. Brother and Property Brothers at Home star made it all the way to finale night, ending the competition with a fourth-place finish. Despite displaying some stellar dancing skills during his stint on the show, Emma and Drew still have some unfinished business, failing to receive a perfect score. With their highest score being a 39 out of 40 for their Freestyle to “The Ding-Dong Daddy of the D-Car Line,” Perhaps a Dancing With the Stars all-star season will be Drew’s chance to finally cross “perfect score” off of his bucket list…

Gleb Savchenko and Shangela

Showing off a sillier side to Gleb Savchenko that Dancing With the Stars fans rarely get to see, it is a no brainer that we would choose drag queen Shangela as his all-star partner. Despite finishing in fourth place, we all their iconic Freestyle to “Survivor” by Destiny’s Child and “Call Me Mother” by RuPaul — where Gleb dressed in full drag, AND the pair received a perfect score — right?

Val Chmerkovskiy and Zendaya

He said it himself on a recent episode of the Lightweights podcast with Joe Vulpis, but Val Chmerkovskiy (and fans of the Emmy Award-winning series) would love Zendaya to return for a Dancing With the Stars all-star season. Despite receiving five perfect scores — serving as the obvious frontrunners of the season — the pair ultimately fell short of eventual winners Kellie Pickler and Derek Hough at the end of season 16, securing a second-place finish instead. Needless to say, Val wants a Dancing With the Stars do-over:

“It’s just a click-baity answer. Obviously, Zendaya would be great, just because I would love to do that again and do it better and do it different, and she’s obviously incredible.”

Now, more famous than ever before, fans would love to see Euphoria, Challengers, and Dune star try for the Mirrorball Trophy once again, this time hopefully emerging victorious.

Sasha Farber and Simone Biles

With 12 different partners during his Dancing With the Stars career — including his rumored girlfriend, Bachelorette beauty Jenn Tran — Sasha Farber has quite a few partners to pick from, but selfishly, we want to see Simone Biles back on our television screens ASAP. Finishing season 24 in fourth place, we are eager to see the Olympic gymnast try her luck at adding the Mirrorball Trophy to her collection of athletic accolades, all while competing among the best of the best. After all, as the most decorated gymnast in history, Simone is used to this kind of high-stakes competition!

Daniella Karagach and Nelly

During her first season as a pro, season 29, Daniella Karagach had one of her best partners to date: “Hot In Herre” singer Nelly. Despite making it all the way to finale night — and receiving a perfect score for their Freestyle to “Savage” by Megan Thee Stallion and “Hypnotize” by The Notorious B.I.G. — the duo ultimately fell short of victory, finishing the competition in third place. Now, with even more experience under her belt, we are confident that Daniella and Nelly would be contenders for the Mirrorball Trophy this time around, should a Dancing With the Stars all-star season come to fruition.

Witney Carson and Milo Manheim

Arguably the most robbed contestant in Dancing With the Stars history, we NEED to see Milo Manheim reunite with his professional dance partner, Witney Carson, for an all-star season of the show. As a refresher, the ZOMBIES star had some superb dancing skills on season 27, receiving 8s and 9s as early as week two. With three perfect scores to their name by the end of the beloved competition series, it was assumed that Milo and Witney would take home the Mirrorball Trophy, but the world was stunned when Bobby Bones and Sharna Burgess were crowned the champions instead, resulting in a second-place finish for the fan favorite pair. Needless to say, the duo deserves some redemption…

Rylee Arnold and Stephen Nedoroscik

With only two partners to her name, Harry Jowsey and Stephen Nedoroscik — and with one of them being an absolute scumbag — it is a no-brainer that we would choose Stephen as Rylee Arnold’s partner, should a Dancing With the Stars all-star season come to fruition. Seemingly the best of friends both during and after their stint on season 33, we know that this pair would have a blast, if given the opportunity to dance together again!

Brandon Armstrong and Chandler Kinney

Also from season 33, Chandler Kinney and Brandon Armstrong are a pair we would love to see return to our television screens. On top of receiving phenomenal scores all season long, Chandler and Brandon made Dancing with the Stars history as the first Black couple to advance to the finale, receiving a perfect score for their Freestyle to to “Hellzapoppin'” by Eyal Vilner Big Band and “Move On Up” by Curtis Mayfield (which was also the show’s first performance to feature an ensemble of all-Black dancers). Finishing the competition in third place nevertheless, we would love to see Chandler and Brandon return to the Dancing With the Stars ballroom to become the first Black couple to take home the Mirrorball Trophy. Plus, with fellow ZOMBIES star Milo Manheim on our all-star list, it would be adorable seeing these longtime friends face off head-to-head…

Alan Bersten and Alexis Ren

ed for their oh-so steamy romance — as well as their fourth-place finish — we would love for social media sensation Alexis Ren to return for a Dancing with the Stars all-star season, rekindling her relationship with her professional dance partner: Alan Bersten. Alexis better watch her back, though — with his season 33 partner, Ilona Maher, seemingly having a some chemistry with Alan, it looks like they will have to fight for his heart (and chances are the Olympic rugby player will emerge victorious).

Jenna Johnson and JoJo Siwa

Competing on season 30 of Dancing With The Stars, JoJo Siwa and Jenna Johnson made headlines back in 2021, becoming the first same-sex duo to participate in the hit competition show. Sespite being a force to be reckoned with in the Dancing With The Stars ballroom — receiving the first perfect score of the season, followed by five more perfect scores — the pair ultimately fell short to Iman Shumpert and Daniella Karagach in the end, finishing the competition in second place. Honing in on her stellar dancing skills through a series of TikTok dances — and as a judge on So You Think You Can Dance — a Dancing With the Stars all-star season might just be the “Karma” singer’s time to shine, finally bringing home the Mirrorball Trophy that she so desperately deserves.

Sitting down with the oh-so infamous Harry Jowsey — a fellow Dancing With the Stars alum — for a recent episode of his podcast, the pair discussed Jenn’s journey on the Emmy Award-winning series, comparing and contrasting their respective experiences. During their discussion, Harry asked Jenn the best and worst thing about Dancing With the Stars, and the New Jersey native sang like a bird. Here’s what she had to say:

“The worst thing was probably the judge’s comments, honestly,” Jenn dished, prior to delving into the details:

“I know that they have a job to do, but it was it was tough sometimes, because I know that I put in so much work and sometimes they weren’t as validating… When you’re in that environment, I think you so badly want that validation of ‘Oh, you’re doing really well.'”

With three shows under his belt, Joey’s ers are left with just one question for the Dancing With the Stars, Bachelor, and Bachelorette star: What’s next?

Sitting down with Joe Vulpis for an episode of the Lightweights podcast, the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy recipient dished, “I can’t even put my brain on what would be next, but I have been someone that’s always been open and excited about new opportunities when they come.” The pair then spitballed some ideas back-and-forth, bringing The Traitors, Survivor, and Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test to the table. Keep scrolling for everything Joey and Joe had to say.

Kicking off the conversation, Joey mentioned The Traitors, sharing that it has been suggested to him quite a bit, likely due to the number of Bachelor Nation who have been a part of the show in the past: Peter Weber, Wells Adams, Gabby Windey, and more.”I think what it is, is there is a usual funnel of people that come from Bachelor Nation and they’ve paved the way and they’ve done these other shows, right? So, when you hear that, those are the first that come to your brain,” he explained, but according to the Bachelor Nation member himself, he has “never been a big reality TV guy.” Joey continued:

“I don’t know a lot about all these different TV shows, especially these competition shows. I think the only one I knew a lot about when I was growing up was Survivor… My mom watched, and I’ve had a resurgence cause one of my buddies loves it, and I’ve watched it a lot. That would be another crazy one to challenge yourself and to see how you would do, but I don’t think anyone from Bachelor Nation has tried even doing that.”

Despite being a massive Survivor fan, Joey itted that he is unsure whether being a part of the Emmy Award-winning series would even be a possibility, as he has “stayed under the ABC umbrella” exclusively. Who knows what the future holds, though…

Speaking of Bachelor Nation who have “paved the way,” Hannah Brown, Tyler Cameron, Nick Viall, and more have been a part of Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test, a show that Joe reccommended to Joey. When asked whether or not he would give it a try, the Pennsylvania native itted that he would to test himself and his abilities, prior to delving into the details:

“I think no one goes into that being like, ‘This is going to be awesome,’ because it’s such a mental test, but I love that kind of stuff. It’s one of the things I’ve loved about Dancing [With the Stars] — all these people are so uncomfortable, and they’re doing something outside of their comfort zone, testing not only their physical ability, but their mental ability to go and perform. This would be a completely different way to do it, but it would still be a way of testing yourself.”

Despite being open to Special Forces, Joey is unsure how he would do on such a high-stakes show, concluding the conversation by telling Joe, “There’s a part of me that thinks I would crumble, [and] there’s a part of me that thinks that I would thrive in a situation like that, but that’s the whole beauty of it. Why not try to do something like that to see how you would actually be">@joeygraziadei. As a Survivor superfan, my fingers are crossed that he makes an appearance on season 49!

Despite getting eliminated first alongside his celebrity dance partner, the oh-so controversial Anna Delvey, Ezra had quite the journey on Dancing With the Stars season 33, finally achieving his dream of becoming a DWTS pro. Prior to this massive promotion, Ezra was a part of the Dancing With the Stars troupe and live tour for several years — simultaneously stepping in as a pro should someone get sick or injured — so finally becoming a pro on the show was quite an impressive feat for the Utah native. You go, Ezra!

Not only has he taken massive strides in his professional life, but Dancing With the Stars has also allowed Ezra to take massive strides in his personal life, coming to with his sexuality as a part of the Emmy Award-winning series.

Sitting down with Bachelor, Bachelorette, and Dancing With the Stars alum Gabby Windey — who is also a member of the LGBTQ+ community — for an episode of her podcast, Long Winded, Ezra opened up about how Dancing With the Stars has completely transformed his self-identity.

Here’s what DWTS pro had to say:

Kicking off the conversation, the 24-year-old shared that he grew up as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (AKA the LDS Church). According to Elder M. Russell Ballard — the former Acting President of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of the LDS Church — “The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints believes that ‘the experience of same-sex attraction is a complex reality for many people. The attraction itself is not a sin, but acting on it is.'” Because of this, Ezra felt trapped as a gay man, knowing that he “had to get out” of the LDS Church in order to embrace who he truly is.

“I knew if I would have lived there any longer, I wouldn’t be out, and I’d probably be married and have kids,” Ezra explained, which is a major reason why he moved away to pursue dance full-time.

Little did he know that pursuing dance full-time would change his life entirely. “The last tour I did with Dancing With The Stars, I was still hesitant about like my self identity,” Ezra continued, prior to sharing a specific moment from the Dancing With the Stars live tour that changed his life once and for all.

“There was this dating game, and they always had me being [on] this freaking dating game… They’re obviously not going to pick the gay guy. Like, come on,” he prefaced, prior to delving into the details:

“I one show, there was this one question that’s a little bit more forward, and they asked it… I was like, ‘I’m not the one for you. Like, I’m gay,’ and that was the first time I think I said that in that environment — in the world of Dancing With The Stars — and the audience like erupted with laughter. I just sitting there, and I was like, ‘Oh wait, this is my superpower. This is what’s gonna make me different.'”

In 2021, shortly before she made her Dancing With the Stars debut, the Utah native found herself with quite the surprise, being diagnosed with type 1 diabetes after facing some serious health struggles.

What were those health struggles exactly? The DWTS pro opened up about her earliest symptoms while speaking with Joe Vulpis on a recent episode of the Lightweights podcast.

“What were the signs you first realized when you had type 1 diabetes">a brand new boyfriend, USC football star Walker Lyons, she is seemingly as happy as can be!

She might have just won Dancing with the Stars season 33 with Bachelor Nation’s very own Joey Graziadei, but that does not mean that things were smooth sailing between Jenna Johnson and all of her previous dance partners. According to the DWTS pro herself, her working relationship with Bachelor Nation’s beloved “Grocery Store” Joe Amabile was far from smooth sailing…

Ladies and gentlemen, after weeks of speculation, it is finally official: Jenn Tran is dating her professional dance partner from Dancing with the Stars season 33, Sasha Farber.

After recently hosting a birthday bash with seemingly all of Bachelor Nation in attendance, Jenn had her eyes on one man and one man only: Sasha. In an Instagram post shared on Dec. 17, Jenn debuted a photo of her professional dance partner planting a kiss on her cheek, captioned, “The pics you gremlins have been waiting for,” seemingly confirming their romance once and for all.

If locking lips was not proof enough, Us Weekly doubled down on the relationship confirmation, sharing that an anonymous source had exclusively revealed that “Jenn and Sasha are dating.”

After her devastating split from Devin Strader at the end of The Bachelorette season 21, it’s safe to say that Jenn had instant chemistry with Sasha, ing Dancing with the Stars season 33 just hours after her Bachelorette breakup and ultimately finding her perfect person in the process. You know what they say — everything happens for a reason! (And let’s be real: Jenn dodged a major bullet with Devin.)

Needless to say, this relationship confirmation has been a long time coming, with the DWTS season 33 cast shipping the duo ever since day one. As Rylee Arnold said, “I mean, Jenn and Sasha are so awesome. I can see their chemistry from a mile away. They would be a great match, and I ship it.” Ilona Maher added, “Even if it isn’t a romance or whatever, the friendship that they’ve built — the way that they’ve really helped each other and healed each other — is so beautiful. You can just tell that they actually genuinely enjoy each other’s company in the studio [and] outside the studio, so it’s really cool to see that Dancing with the Stars builds pairings like that, you know, and it is crafted in that way.”

Following the season finale, things started to get even steamier between Jenn and Sasha, with the latter seemingly hard-launching their relationship in an Instagram post on November 13. “Days like this make everything better!!!!” Sasha captioned the post, resulting in an uproar from his and Jenn’s fellow competitors ranging from “Is this the hard launch???">Devin put her through.

OG Dancing with the Stars fans definitely know the one and only Sharna Burgess, but have you ever wondered who her dream DWTS partner is? Finally, the former DWTS pro is spilling the tea, revealing his identity on a recent episode of the Lightweights podcast.

Sitting down with podcaster Joe Vulpis, the pair discussed whether or not returning to Dancing with the Stars is a possibility for the 39-year-old. Should she revisit the series, Burgess then revealed who she would want her DWTS partner would be, answering the question that fans of the show have been asking for years.

Pro-dancers Valentin Chmerkovskiy and Jenna Johnson have had an on-and-off relationship as tumultuous as any tension-filled dance number due to the amount of dating rumors Chmerkovskiy has sparked with his co-stars over the years.

Romances among co-stars are nothing new, and with a show like Dancing With the Stars, they’re often encouraged. But while Chmerkovskiy and Johnson have been married for a few years now, that doesn’t mean Chmerkovskiy hasn’t had some romantic entanglements in the past. Let’s take a look at the dating timeline of one of DWTS’s favorite pros, including the many rumors.

2013: Val Chmerkovskiy and Jenna Johnson meet on Dancing With the Stars

The couple first met on the set of Dancing with the Stars and both said that they were immediately attracted to each other. Chmerkovskiy had been a frequent face on the show since its second season in 2006, while Johnson ed the cast as a troupe member in 2014. Reports say that the couple started dating in 2015 while working on Dancing With the Stars together. They were first spotted out together in 2016 when they were pictured getting cozy during a lunch date in West Hollywood. 

2012: Kelly Monaco

After being promoted to pro dancer on Dancing With the Stars, it didn’t take long for dating rumors to begin to rise between him and his partners. One of these was General Hospital’s Kelly Monaco, who Chmerkovskiy was partnered with for season 15. Their chemistry on the dance floor was undeniable and they remained touchy and close even behind the scenes, adding more fire to the rumors. Monaco went on record with Today to clear the air, stating that it was just a friendship between her and Chmerkovskiy, but the die-hards never bought it. 

2014: Janel Parrish

Another partner that Chmerkovskiy fueled dating rumors with was his season 19 partner, Janel Parrish. He and the Pretty Little Liars actress again displayed unparalleled chemistry both on and off stage. The dating rumors grew after Parrish ended things with her then-boyfriend midway through the season and then Chmerkovskiy proceeded to shower her with surprise gifts on her birthday. Fans speculated on whether their relationship was legit or just a showmance, and the pair constantly teased about their “feelings” for each other while never properly labeling them. However, after the show, they never attempted dating and it looks like it was all for the cameras after all. 

2016: Amber Rose

Chmerkovskiy was reportedly still dating Jenna Johnson despite all the romance rumors between him and his dance partners, but the couple officially broke up in 2016 and Chmerkovskiy began dating model Amber Rose later that year. They met on the set of season 23 of DWTS, where Rose was partnered with Chmerkovskiy’s brother, Maksim. Their relationship was confirmed by People in December 2016, but the short-lived romance ended only five months later. 

2017: Chmerkovskiy and Johnson reconcile

The endgame couple teased their reunion by sharing photos of themselves on a vacation in Europe. While they didn’t post any pictures together, they both shared pics from Rome with the same caption, confirming that they were in the same place and were vacationing together. Later that year they attended Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd’s wedding together and even shared a kiss on screen at the DWTS season 25 finale.

2018:  Rumer Willis

Val Chmerkovskiy and his season 20 partner Rumer Willis took home the Mirrorball trophy that season, and after an intense season, Willis allegedly caught feelings for her partner. She got a tattoo of herself and Chmerkovskiy embracing to commemorate their win, despite the partners never being confirmed or even properly rumored to be in a relationship. Willis was so heartbroken about Chmerkovskiy’s relationship with Jenna Johnson that she had her tattoo removed. 

2018: Chmerkovskiy and Johnson are engaged

After so many years on and off, Chmerkovskiy popped the question to Johnson on a trip to Italy. He said he had always known he wanted to propose to his wife in Venice, and Johnson shared photos of the engagement on X. Chmerkovskiy gushed about his fiance to People saying, “My life has changed because of her, and I find myself to be the best version of myself that I’ve ever been.”

2019: Chmerkovskiy and Johnson tie the knot

Chmerkovskiy and Johnson tied the knot less than a year after their engagement. They held their wedding ceremony in Rancho Palo Verdes, California with Johnson decked in Vera Wang while Chmerkovskiy donned a Brooks Brothers suit. Chmerkovskiy’s brother Maksim served as his best man, while Johnson had her sisters Stacy Johnson Bills and Jill Zenger as maids of honor. 

2022: Chmerkovskiy and Johnson welcome their first child

The dancing couple is still going strong- last year they welcomed the newest member of their family, Rome Valentin Chmerkovskiy. Their baby boy was born on Oct. 1, 2023, and the couple announced his birth in a t Instagram post of a black and white picture of their baby holding on to his mother’s thumb with Chmerkovskiy’s hand cradling them both. Johnson later revealed his name in a separate post of baby Rome at 4 weeks old, smiling with his eyes closed. 

Jenn Tran might not have had any luck on The Bachelor, The Bachelorette or Dancing With the Stars, but it is safe to say that her friends make up for her many reality TV failures…

Recently, Jenn turned 27 years old, throwing a one-of-a-kind birthday celebration that had our favorite Bachelor, Bachelorette and Dancing With the Stars alums in attendance. Donning a sheer silver dress that left little to the imagination — as well as a shawl to keep warm during this winter weather — some of our favorite reality TV personalities shared some snaps of the birthday girl, helping us piece together the puzzle that was Jenn’s star-studded guest list.

From Bachelor Nation, Rachel Recchia, Genevieve Parisi, Katie Thurston, Lea Cayanan, Joey Graziadei, Tanner Courtad, Justin Glaze and more were in attendance, as well as many of the production team. The Bachelorette season 21 alums Jonathon Johnson and Austin Ott went so far as to share a silly TikTok video as well, poking fun at the fact they were at their ex-girlfriend’s epic birthday party. How hilarious is that?

Additionally, everyone’s favorite guy from The Bachelorette season 21 — Jenn’s brother, James Tran — also stepped out in style at his sister’s birthday bash, reflecting on the evening in an Instagram post.

James Tran: “Happy birthday, @jenntran!! Being able to meet so many people last night who have made such a positive impact on your life was such a treat. Phenomenal people. Phenomenal celebration. Let’s bring it back next year ”

From Dancing With the Stars, host Alfonso Ribero was in attendance, as well as former pros Peta Murgatroyd and Maks Chmerkovskiy, pros Ezra Sosa and Emma Slater, former contestants Harry Jowsey and Tori Spelling and more. Of course, her rumored boyfriend and professional dance partner, Sasha Farber, made an appearance as well, eating cake with the birthday girl in an oh-so flirtatious manner. Does anyone else hear wedding bells?

There were also some seemingly random guests, such as influencer LaurDiy (AKA Lauren Riihimaki), Victorious star Victoria Justice, Too Hot To Handle, Perfect Match and The Circle star Chloe Veitch.

Not only were her closest friends at Jenn’s one-of-a-kind birthday celebration, but numerous brands made an appearance as well. If you are a part of Gen Z (such as myself), chances are you grew up with the one and only Trisha Paytas, watching her life ebb and flow over the years.

Previously facing quite a bit of controversy — having been diagnosed with borderline personality disorder, as well as having substance abuse problems in the past (among other things) — Trisha has found herself in a great place in more recent years, meeting the love of her life, Moses Hacmon, and giving birth to two beautiful baby girls: Malibu Barbie and Elvis.

Now, the influencer has amassed 9.9 million followers via TikTok, and she is also making waves with her podcast, the Just Trish podcast, where she comments on current pop culture topics. Attracting approximately 30 million YouTube views through more than 50 episodes of said podcast (as of March 2024), it is undoubtedly one of the most successful projects of Trisha’s career!

Nevertheless, after making her Saturday Night Live debut earlier this month — as well as attending the premiere of the movie-musical Wicked — Trisha seems to be crossing quite a few things off of her bucket list. What’s next on her agenda, though?

For those who are unfamiliar, Ezra ed Dancing With the Stars in season 30, serving as a dancer in the troupe, as well as a dancer who would step in should a DWTS pro get sick or injured. We all when he stepped in for Artem Chigvintsev, dancing with Bachelorette beauty Charity Lawson for a singular episode of Dancing With the Stars season 32… right?

In Dancing With the Stars season 33, Ezra was promoted to a DWTS pro, partnered with con artist Anna Delvey and getting eliminated from the competition first. His first experience as a DWTS pro might have been lackluster (to say the least), but you know what they say — a win is a win!

Nevertheless, Ezra seems on board with Trisha being his partner next season, commenting on the video, “Contemporary to ‘Defying Gravity’ would go so HARDDDDDD” — referencing the influencer’s love for the movie-musical Wicked — before making a response video of his own.

In a video reacting to Trisha’s dream board, Ezra used the caption “FR tho she finna be my partner season 34.” Naturally, this garnered a roar of applause from fans who this potential Dancing With the Stars pairing, taking to the comment section of the post:

Luigi Mangione has become an overnight household name, to the point where people are now envisioning his potential venture into the world of reality television. 

In case you somehow missed it (seriously, where the heck have you been?), Mangione is the key suspect in the fatal shooting of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson. Mangione’s arrest earlier this week in connection to the murder thrust him into the international spotlight, solidifying him as an internet sensation as scores of social media s either lusted after him or expressed sympathy for the apparent motive of his alleged crime. 

Now during an unprecedented level of notoriety, the question has naturally been posed as to whether Mangione can appear on the show that gives everyone their 15 minutes of fame; Dancing with the Stars. The possibility was explored by X Pat Regan (@poregan), who begged the question to her nearly 60,000 followers, “If Luigi is found guilty can he still be on Dancing with the Stars?”. 

Given the show’s history of criminal castmates and its flair for stunt casting, it was only a matter of time before Mangione was theorized as a potentially ideal castmate for the reality competition series. Regan’s post garnered 18,000 likes, suggesting some interest in seeing the suspected killer bust out a few moves, but is Mangione’s appearance on Dancing with the Stars even possible? Well, at the risk of disappointing those who’ve thirsted after him, it seems highly unlikely. 

Among others, Mangione was charged with second-degree murder which, if found guilty, would mean he isn’t eligible for parole until at least 15 years. DWTS has enjoyed an impressive 33-season run, but that makes Mangione’s potential appearance on the show feel either impossible or at the very best, a distant improbability — but that’s not to say his casting would be without precedent.

If you recall, criminal Anna Delvey was a castmate on DWTS’ most recent season (complete with a bedazzled ankle monitor), and the show has previously welcomed fellow castmates who’ve had brushes with the law like Theresa Guidice and Lil Kim. Coincidentally, it’s not the first time this year that someone presumably involved in a murder has been mentioned in discussions of DWTS’ casting. Erik and Lyle Menendez, two killers who also captured the thirst of the public, were reportedly being eyed by producers of the show in the event that they were freed from prison for the murders of their parents back in 1998. 

Despite this, what seems more likely in of Mangione’s small screen presence is a dramatized adaptation of his story. Earlier this week, Ryan Murphy — the showrunner behind Netflix’s Menendez brothers drama — started trending as onlookers predicted an inevitable Mangione installment of his true crime series Monsters or American Crime Story. 

Whatever the case, social media s appear enthusiastic about the possibility of Mangione’s DWTS debut, with one citing Delvey as reason for “hope” that Mangione will appear on the show.

Others said reports of Mangione’s chronic back pain might dash his hopes of featuring on the dancing competition, or named one convicted felon who was still granted access to a far more important position than the DWTS cast. “If he’s found guilty he can still be president apparently so yeah,” one wrote.
