Beloved actress Miriam Margolyes, who is famous for playing Professor Sprout in the Harry Potter movies, has shared that she believes she will die within the next five or six years because of serious health problems. She made this statement during an interview where she talked about retiring from acting, and it follows earlier comments about her declining health. The 84-year-old actress’s openness about her situation has drawn a lot of attention and comion from people.

Margolyes’ health issues started with a major heart problem that needed surgery. She had an operation to replace her aortic valve with one taken from a cow, which was a less intense option compared to full open-heart surgery. She spoke about this in 2023, and it was a key moment when she began talking more openly about her health. While she mentioned having a “cow’s heart,” she later explained that only the aortic valve was replaced, not the entire heart.

The next year, she faced another health issue: she was diagnosed with spinal stenosis, as reported by Page Six. This condition affects the spine and has made it very hard for her to move around. Margolyes now depends on walking sticks, a walker, and a mobility scooter to get through daily life, which has greatly reduced her ability to take on acting roles that require physical effort.

This physical decline played a big part in her choice to stop acting. Even though she still wants to perform, she its that many roles are too physically demanding for her now. She expressed sadness about not being able to accept parts that don’t involve using mobility aids, showing that her physical restrictions are currently too much to overcome.

While she has said in the past that she isn’t scared of death, she has also talked about worrying about her financial stability in her remaining years. Even Harry Potter would be pretty old right now, but we tend not to notice the age of time.

Stanislav Yanevski, who is most famous for playing Viktor Krum in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, one of the eight movies in the series, recently had emergency surgery after struggling with serious breathing problems. The actor, who had just turned 40 before this happened, shared details about his health scare on Instagram. He posted a picture of himself in a hospital bed with a bandaged nose and an IV in his arm.

He explained that he had been rushed to the hospital because he couldn’t breathe and needed surgery right away. Yanevski said his breathing issues had been getting worse over several months, making it harder for him to breathe normally and even affecting his sense of smell. At first, he decided to keep his health problems private because he didn’t want to upset his fans or loved ones.

After the surgery, once he was on the road to recovery, he felt ready to share the news. He also wanted to thank everyone who had sent him birthday messages and kind words during this tough time. He expressed how grateful he was for the from his close friends and family.

Harry Potter actor had a health scare

The surgery appears to have gone well, and Yanevski’s Instagram post showed that he is making good progress. He mentioned that he is recovering nicely and expects to fully regain his ability to breathe and smell. The actor also said he is hopeful about sleeping through the night without trouble soon and getting back to full strength. His doctors have been surprised by how quickly he is healing.

He even credited part of his recovery to healthy habits, like eating well, exercising, staying disciplined, and believing in himself. However, he itted that he is still healing and that the implants in his nose make it hard for him to talk right now. This is affecting his ability to complete some work commitments, like Cameo video requests. He promised his fans he would handle these as soon as he could.

This is the first news we’ve gotten from the series in a while, we know that the HBO show got its Snape, but this news isn’t so fun. While Yanevski’s role as Viktor Krum is still his most well-known part, he hasn’t acted much since the Harry Potter movies. His last big role was in the 2021 action film Last Man Down. His choice to keep his health struggles private matches his usual quiet personality, which was clear from his Instagram post.

After learning that John Lithgow ditched a very good friend, a mother of a trans child, and shamelessly sidelined her plea to not align himself with J.K. Rowling and her destructive agenda against the transgender community, the fandom didn’t have much hope from the rest of the cast. Why would they, when it could endanger their hefty paychecks? But someone didn’t care and chose to stand up for what is right.

A big section of the fandom – which chose toxicity – had been bashing Warner Bros and specifically, actor Paapa Essiedu for playing Professor Severus Snape and claiming the authenticity of the adaptation has been compromised by casting a black actor. But Esseidu has paid no attention to these comments, just like he didn’t spare a second of hesitation before openly condemning and slamming the U.K. Supreme Court’s recent ruling that transgender women and men are not legally women and men by g an open letter that also has the of 400 other actors. 

His brazen step comes mere days after Rowling sent a ripple of unease across social media by celebrating the U.K. court’s decision, even prompting the normally calm and collected Pedro Pascal to call out her “disgusting” antics.

So, what does Paapa Essiedu’s future look like?

Rowling’s penchant for threatening and even suing those who go up against her transphobic rhetoric has left many questioning whether Essiedu’s role as Snape is still safe now that he is publicly against the very movement that the author has been ing, even at the cost of losing a big chunk of a once loyal fandom. 

But, to the surprise of many, Rowling:

1. Does not have the power to fire the actor.
2. Has morals remaining that would have allegedly stopped her even if she did have the ability to send the actor packing.

So, for now, her anger – in the world of the Harry Potter franchise – seems limited to the former stars of the Wizarding World who did not hold back their disdain and criticism when they slammed the author for her dated and derogatory views. Though not one of them – Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, Matthew Lewis, etc – has expressed the desire to ever apologize, Rowling has already ordered them to “save their apologies.”

It’s practically impossible for anyone in the entertainment industry to be unaware of the vitriol the Harry Potter author spews on a daily basis, so it’s disappointing to many that the original Draco actor, Tom Felton, should still choose to work with her.

At this point, any actor who willingly works with her is tarred with the same brush whether they actually agree with her or not. This is very much the case for Felton, who has seen a wave of negative attention for possibly the first time in his career.

What is Tom Felton’s role in the new Harry Potter show?

While Felton won’t be making an appearance on screen for the Harry Potter reboot he has expressed interest in returning as a part of the crew. Reports last week indicated that the star would indeed be making his grand return after he “endeared himself to Warner Bros.” He will be the only member of the original cast to be working on the new project.

The last few years have seen Rowling consistently attack the trans community despite them being a marginalized group who simply want the right to be seen and recognized for who they are. Many former cast have already denounced and distanced themselves from the once beloved author, something which only seems to have further enraged her.

Despite this, Felton has refused to condemn Rowling’s attacks on the trans community and now his decision to continue working with her has solidified in the minds of many that he seemingly doesn’t have an issue with her views.

Fans are disappointed

Naturally this comes as a disappointment to fans of the franchise, many of whom looked up to Felton prior to this. One disappointed individual took to TikTok to air their grievances with the actor, telling him he “peaked at 11” and that he hadn’t managed to find any memorable roles since.

On Reddit fans likened him to his character in the Harry Potter franchise. One wrote, “In the Harry potter franchise tom felton is known for playing a craven coward who bows to power to have some small part of it. Great casting it turns out.” Ouch.

Tom isn’t the first to be subject to such attacks online. Last month actor John Lithgow found his own fans turning against him after taking the role of Dumbledore in the reboot. There was also disappointment in British actor Nick Frost’s decision to as the new Hagrid.

In the eyes of many, Felton’s decision looks to be a desperate move to cling to the one thing that ever made him relevant. While the rest of the original cast were able to move on to bigger and better things he seems to be stuck in the past, coasting on the one role he’s really known for, taking the easy way out rather than carving a name for himself in fresh and exciting roles. In the process he’s lost the respect of thousands of Potter fans across the globe.

HBO’s Harry Potter reboot is already proving to be an ethical minefield for its cast. J.K. Rowling is now famous as one of the fiercest warriors against the trans community, recently funding a British Supreme Court challenge which cruelly stripped rights from trans people.

As such, every actor who’s signed up for the new Harry Potter has faced entirely justified criticism for helping pour more money into her bulging bank . Now, look, I get that actors will find it difficult to turn down a job in a high-profile HBO show, but maybe balance that against your reputation?

But it seems there’s likely to be some severe tension on set, as new Severus Snape actor Paapa Essiedu is one of the top signatories to an open letter laying out the importance of defending trans people and vowing to stand in solidarity with them. The letter says: “We believe the [Supreme Court] ruling undermines the lived reality and threatens the safety of trans, non-binary, and intersex people living in the UK.” and pointedly concludes:

“Film and television are powerful tools for empathy and education, and we believe ionately in the ability of the screen to change hearts and minds. This is our opportunity to be on the right side of history.”

So, presumably, as a signatory, Essiedu believes (rightly) that Rowling is very much on the wrong side of history.

Essiedu isn’t the only Harry Potter actor to have stood up to Rowling, with Fantastic Beasts‘ Eddie Redmayne, Katie Leung, and Charlotte Ritchie all adding their names to this message. And, famously, the core Harry Potter of Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Emma Watson all condemned Rowling’s poisonous beliefs, which offended her so much she’s indicated she wouldn’t forgive them even if they apologized (which they’re not).

All of which means we can’t help but wonder if Essiedu will remain in the role. Fighting against trans people appears to be the entirety of Rowling’s identity these days and she clearly hates any actor playing her characters disagreeing with her. It’s possible she may simply demand the role be recast altogether, especially as shooting hasn’t begun yet.

To be honest, if Essiedu genuinely s trans people, he probably shouldn’t be helping line Rowling’s pockets so she can continue her crusade against them, but that’s between him and his conscience. Here’s hoping more Harry Potter stars stand up to be counted alongside their trans brothers and sisters.

Like most people, I don’t think I could put a price on my friendships. These are people I’ve grown up alongside, who’ve seen me at my best and worst, and who I’d go to the ends of the Earth for. But, apparently, film icon John Lithgow prioritizes a hefty payday over his friends.

In an interview with Variety, Lithgow outlines a bizarre incident involving his casting in HBO’s Harry Potter remake show. This remake is proving to be a hot potato on all fronts, though primarily because J.K. Rowling just personally funded a successful legal battle to strip rights from and enforce discrimination against trans people in the United Kingdom.

Every actor clambering aboard HBO’s Hogwarts Express will be fully aware of this, especially as their social medias are now full of heartbroken fans pleading for them not to align themselves with Rowling. However, Lithgow has at least made his position clear: he doesn’t care.

“A very good friend who is the mother of a trans child” sent him an open letter pleading with him to walk away from Rowling. The letter praises Lithgow for his career-long “love and acceptance of the LGBTQ community”, pointing out that he said “Nobody in society should have to hide who they are, or feel like they’re second class citizens in any way”, and underlining that he scored an Oscar nomination in 1982 for playing a trans character.

The letter ends with a plea for Lithgow to “stand with trans young people” as the community “could use your now more than ever.” So, on one hand, you have your good friend’s emotional letter to you outlining how this would make you a massive hypocrite and urging you to do well, and on the other, you have a big HBO payday.

Lithgow told Variety the letter “was the canary in the coal mine”. But even if that bird chirped and flapped around a little, it was soon a rotting yellow lump on the cage floor. Lithgow’s takeaway was apparently… nothing: “I thought, ‘Why is this a factor at all?’ I wonder how J.K. Rowling has absorbed it. I suppose at a certain point I’ll meet her, and I’m curious to talk to her.”

Needless to say, fans of Lithgow are disgusted, with most wondering why he’d burn decades of goodwill for a payday that’ll make no material difference to his day-to-day life:

It’s deeply depressing to see an actor I deeply respected fritter away his reputation like this. But hey, Lithgow “just” has a net worth of around $50 million, so maybe the Rowling paycheque will mean he can finally afford that ivory backscratcher he’s been coveting all this time. What Rowling is doing with her money is evil but, as far as Lithgow is concerned, evil clearly pays.

J.K. Rowling isn’t particularly liked by a majority of the internet. The once beloved author provided most millennials and even many Gen Z kids with some brilliant childhoods thanks to her Harry Potter books. However, she has since outed herself as a hateful, spiteful individual who seems to relish in other people’s misery.

This week the U.K. Supreme Court decided that trans women cannot be defined as women. The recent court ruling brought an end to a dispute between feminist advocacy groups and the Scottish government. Across the country people have protested against the ruling as it will have far-reaching implications for people in the trans community.

J.K. Rowling celebrates

Of course, the Harry Potter author was overjoyed at the recent news. So much so that she had to let everyone else know. Rowling posted a picture of herself on what appears to be her yacht, with a glass of champagne in one hand and a cigar in the other — the luxurious self-indulgence here is giving Umbridge. The caption reads, “I love it when a plan comes together.”

There’s just something about the picture that just makes her look almost cartoonishly villainous. It’s probably the cigar, cartoons have taught me that only bad guys smoke cigars. A few people have actually drawn comparisons between Rowling’s picture and a pic of Andrew Tate smoking a fat cigar. One person on X pointed out that “JK Rowling is to women what Andrew Tate is to men.”

The unlikely pair have a lot in common

Of course, the similarities don’t end with their apparent love for smoking cigars. Both are chronically online individuals who pander to the right-wing by spouting hateful rhetoric. Their personalities basically revolve around being “anti-woke” which attracts a small but crazy loyal group of followers who will defend them no matter what. However, it also earns them ire from pretty much everyone else online.

Being compared to Tate will no doubt upset Rowling, at least it should. Despite her bigoted opinion when it comes to trans rights, she still insists that she is a feminist. Andrew Tate is the antithesis of a feminist. However, these are the kinds of people that are associated with her name now and it’s all thanks to her anti-progressive stance. Let’s not forget, she’s agreed with far-right figures like Elon Musk in the past.

At this point it seems the mold has fully taken over.

Anyways, the J.K. Rowling we once knew as kids is gone. This hateful rhetoric is all many will her for now. Like it or not she’s in the same league as Tate, one of the biggest misogynists out there.

HBO is about to find out whether Harry Potter is still popular. The books and the movies are 21st century cultural landmarks, but since The Deathly Hallows Part 2 wrapped up it’s been in slow decline. The Fantastic Beasts franchise fizzled out, various transmedia projects have cratered and, y’know, there’s the whole J.K. Rowling thing.

But HBO and Warner Bros are putting all their eggs in the remake basket, with a mega-budget fresh adaptation of the original books with an all-new cast. Now they’ve confirmed the casting of six key characters. Here they are:

Dumbledore – John Lithgow

No surprises here, given he’d already been all-but confirmed, but John Lithgow will be playing Dumbledore. Renowned across movies, TV, and theater, he’s won two Tony Awards, six Emmys, and two Golden Globes. Notable works include 3rd Rock from the Sun, Dexter, The Crown, and films like Footloose and Interstellar.

Severus Snape – Paapa Essiedu

In a piece of casting guaranteed to cause a lot of debate, Paapa Essiedu, a British actor of Ghanian descent will play Severus Snape. Essiedu has a strong pedigree in the Royal Shakespeare Company, delivering acclaimed lead performances in Hamlet and King Lear. His breakout role in 2020’s I May Destroy You garnered Emmy and BAFTA nominations. Essiedu has also appeared on TV in Gangs of London and The Lazarus Project, and in the films Men and The Outrun.

Janet McTeer – Minerva McGonagall

Janet McTeer is taking over from the much-missed Maggie Smith as McGonagall. In 1997 McTeer won a Tony for A Doll’s House and earned Oscar and Golden Globe nominations for 1997’s Tumbleweeds. Other Notable roles include Albert Nobbs, The White Queen, Ozark, Jessica Jones, and The Menu.

Quirinus Quirrel – Luke Thallon

Playing the (literally) two-faced villain Quirrel will be Luke Thallon, a British actor primarily known for his theater work. He won the Clarence Derwent Award for Leopoldstadt and was nominated for an Evening Standard Award for Albion. Other Notable roles include Hamlet (RSC), Patriots (Broadway), and Present Laughter (Old Vic). On screen, he appeared in The Favourite and A Room with a View.

Hagrid – Nick Frost

In a truly inspired bit of casting, cult TV icon Nick Frost will be playing Hagrid. He rose to fame in classic British comedy Spaced, before becoming a fixture in Edgar Wright’s “Cornetto Trilogy” (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, The World’s End) alongside Simon Pegg. Frost’s other credits include Into the Badlands and Fighting with My Family.

Argus Filch – Paul Whitehouse

The perpetually grumpy Argus Filch will be played by the altogether more cheery Paul Whitehouse. The British comedy legend co-created The Fast Show, starred in Harry & Paul, Happiness, and co-wrote Only Fools and Horses specials. His movie work includes The Death of Stalin and Ghost Stories. A BAFTA winner, he’s hilarious in Mortimer & Whitehouse: Gone Fishing.

There are, of course, more cast to come, so we’ll keep this article updated as and when the rest of the Hogwarts teachers and students are confirmed. Here’s hoping we get to see our new Harry, Ron, and Hermione very soon.

Over the weekend, JK Rowling unveiled an exciting new development in her career. Not content with becoming one of the most high-profile anti-trans celebrities in the world, she’s now expanded her umbrella of hate to include asexuals.

It’s unclear why she chose to lash out at asexuals on Apr. 6’s “International Asexuality Day”, on which they take pride in their community and provide resources to anyone wishing to learn about them. Seen through the sickly lens of Rowling’s eyes, this translates to “Fake Oppression Day” for people who “don’t fancy a shag”. Cruel.

As many have noted, Rowling has essentially unlimited resources at her disposal and could do whatever she wants with her life. Right now, she could be snorkeling in a tropical paradise, camping in a tent in the Sahara desert, or staying in a luxury Tokyo hotel and enjoying some classy nightlife.

But she’s not doing any of that, she’s sitting at home randomly lashing out at people online and seeking mewls of approval from the far right. And, with each tap of her keyboard, grains of sand fall through the hourglass of her life, never to return.

However, as an astute post on X revealed, the reason for this bizarre and depressing behavior may have been staring us in the face all along. Back in 2020, Rowling attempted to respond to criticism that she was transphobic with an essay posted to her website. On re-reading it it’s shocking how much she’s changed over five years. Would 2025 Rowling really say: “Trans people need and deserve protection.”?

Anyhows, peppered throughout the article are mentions to what sounds suspiciously like Rowling’s own gender dysphoria: “If I’d been born 30 years later, I too might have tried to transition”, “The allure of escaping womanhood would have been huge”, “I believe I could have been persuaded to turn myself into the song my father … preferred”, and “I didn’t have a realistic possibility of becoming a man back in the 1980s”.

Rowling’s counter to this appears to be that these thoughts were a consequence of her mental health, a belief that everyone feels gender dysphoria in her teens, and that she’s simply accepted living her life “unsure of what or who you are”.

Well, her fixation and obsession with the trans community makes a little more sense now. All we can say to Rowling is that it’s never too late. Sure, you making this decision now after, y’know, everything, would generate a lot of headlines, but isn’t it best to live life to what you know deep down to be true. Rowling, dude, it’s okay. It’s okay.

HBO’s television remake of Harry Potter has been dealt a few blows in of casting, but reports around who will play the character of Rubeus Hagrid have been met with a surprisingly warm reception. 

As fanfare around the TV adaptation reaches fever pitch, Deadline reports that Nick Frost — the British actor known for his appearances in Hot Fuzz and Paul — is in talks to play Hagrid, and is “nearing a deal” to officially secure the role as the half-giant and mentor to Harry Potter. While Deadline says it has “exclusively learned” of Frost’s casting, the report also points to a recent cryptic Instagram post shared by the actor, in which he excitedly teased “It’s happening, it’s actually happening. Stay cool.”

If confirmed, Frost’s casting as Hagrid would see him take the reins from Robbie Coltrane, who portrayed the loveable Hogwarts groundskeeper in all eight of the original Harry Potter films. Regardless of the legitimacy of the reports, fans have taken to social media to express their excitement around the news, in stark contrast to their reactions to other casting rumors around the HBO series. “The only casting that makes sense so far,” one Potterhead wrote on X, with another agreeing that Frost’s involvement “might be the best casting yet.”

Other s quipped that they “could see” Frost as Hagrid, or said the actor was “spot on” for the role. “That would be an awesome fit,” another fan added, while a fifth declared that Frost “truly fits the bill.” Those who’ve kept up with the Harry Potter reboot speculation will know that fans haven’t always reacted so warmly to casting rumors. Earlier this year, Potterheads were sent into a tizzy amid reports that Paapa Essiedu was in talks to portray Severus Snape, and they weren’t fully sold on the actor attached to Dumbledore, either.

On the latter front, it was John Lithgow who (prematurely) confirmed his role as the Hogwarts heaster, even though the actor itted that the reboot — expected to span seven seasons — would “define me for the last chapter of my life.” Alongside those names, Janet McTeer has been floating around the character of Professor Minerva McGonagall, and Cillian Murphy has been rumored to portray Voldermort, but we haven’t heard a peep as to who will play the central trio of Harry, Ron and Hermoine. If JK Rowling had it her way, it certainly wouldn’t involve a role reprisal. 

So feverish is the fan interest in the cast that HBO was forced to release a statement earlier this year. “We appreciate that such a high-profile series will draw a lot of rumor and speculation,” the network said (per Deadline). “As we make our way through pre-production, we will only confirm details as we finalize deals.” So there you have it folks, we can only trust casting news when it comes straight from the horse’s mouth! But even if it doesn’t happen, Frost should still start practicing his best “Yer a wizard, Harry” in the mirror — because that’s just plain fun.

It’s not the first thing that comes to mind when you hear his thick North Carolina accent on season 3 of The White Lotus, but Jason Isaacs is no stranger to cinematic villainy.

Just look at his filmography: Captain Hook. Ra’s al Ghul. Sinestro. The Inquisitor. Lex Luthor. Satan. Does it get more evil than that? When you’re Jason Isaacs, the answer is yes. Arguably his most famous and memorable role is that of Lucius Malfoy in the Harry Potter films. First appearing in Chamber of Secrets, Isaacs imbued Lucius with the kind of hair-raising intensity only Bellatrix Lestrange and Voldemort himself could later match. His luscious blonde locks and scene-stealing snarl quickly cemented Lucius as a Potter villain to hate ⏤ and incredibly difficult to replicate.

Now that a new Potter show is on the way, a key casting question is demanding attention: who’s going to play the new Lucius? Thankfully for fans chomping at the bit, Isaacs has an answer……and it’s the last one you’re expecting.

Who does Jason Isaacs think should play the new Lucius Malfoy?

In conversation with Variety, Isaacs recently revealed who would play the new Lucius “if he were in charge”: Meryl Streep! I know what you’re thinking: who? I’M KIDDING, SAMANTHA. We know her, we love her, and yes, now we kind of need her to play Papa Malfoy just to see her knock it out of the park. As for why Isaacs thinks Streep is perfect for the role, his justification is sound.

“She can do anything, that woman,” he told the publication. “There’s literally no limit to what she can do.” With a historic career that has seen her win three Oscars and be nominated for a whopping 21, Streep obviously needs no introduction. She’s played everyone from Joanna Kramer to Miranda Priestley, and she has yet to meet her match. (Although some would argue her successor is well on her way). Though there’s an enormous chance Isaacs was being facetious with his answer to Variety’s question, it would not be a stretch to see Streep fill Lucius’ shoes and slay, kween.

When asked what advice he would give new incoming Potter actors, Isaacs kept his cards close to the vest. “I wouldn’t have any advice at all,” he revealed. “Why would I bother? Rowling, who in recent years has earned the internet’s ire following her consistently controversial anti-transgender views, had previously insisted that American actors not be cast in the largely British roles she’d created. Lithgow’s casting confirms that she’s not being as strict this time around, which also means that Streep being in the running for Draco’s daddy is not outside the realm of possibility.

With season 5 of Only Murders in the Building, a TV adaptation of The Corrections, and the long-awaited sequel to The Devil Wears Prada on her plate, Streep might simply be too busy to step into the shoes of a dark wizard at the moment. That said, following her Oscar-nominated turn as The Witch in Into the Woods, perhaps she’s got more magic to do before she receives her inevitable 22nd Oscar nominaish. As for Isaacs, we’re just hoping he survives his stay at a certain hotel ⏤ and that his pants stay on for the rest of the season.

Of all the popular film franchises to have come and gone from the zeitgeist, none have created legacies quite as eclectic as Harry Potter. Daniel Radcliffe has been quietly doing whatever he wants with all the money he got (and if he keeps choosing projects like Swiss Army Man, we all win), Emma Watson has used her platform to forward her advocacy and activism vocations, and J. K. Rowling continues to double down on her vile anti-trans rhetoric while churning out a trio of paltry Fantastic Beasts screenplays.

Now, it’s Jessie Cave‘s turn to make another big post-Harry Potter headline, by way of an OnlyFans dedicated to trichophilia.

It’s never dirty comments, but I do get lots of interest in the hair thing and I just thought, ‘… I’m going to do something that is very niche.’

But this decision goes beyond a monetary opportunity as well. Indeed, Cave sees this as a way to push the boundaries of how she’s perceived and, by extension, how she expresses herself.

It’s been quite liberating. I really am choosing to think of this as an empowering moment for me because I have been this very straight, prim actress for a lot of my career and this is very much a way of me saying, ‘Okay, I’m doing something that is not normal. This is weird and me and a bit kinky. And why not?’

During the Harry Potter heyday, Cave portrayed one Lavender Brown, a Gryffindor student and a classmate of Harry’s in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and the Deathly Hallows duology. She briefly romances Ron Weasley in Half-Blood Prince, and goes on to participate in the Battle of Hogwarts in Deathly Hallows, where her life is ultimately taken by the werewolf Fenrir Greyback.

Since then, Cave has continued acting in film, television, and theatre, and also published a comedy-drama novel titled Sunset in 2021. In 2012, she made her Edinburgh Fringe debut with her show Bookworm, while her critically-acclaimed show Sunrise served as her sophomore bow in that festival. She also runs a YouTube channel known as Pindippy.
