After the storm that was his divorce from Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt has found love again, this time with jewelry designer Ines de Ramon, and reportedly, he is now “in a great place.” Just days ago, he addressed the chaos and headlines about his still ongoing legal battles with Jolie, calling it an “annoyance.” Interestingly, once upon a time, he unabashedly shared similar sentiments about his marriage with Jennifer Aniston and called Jolie his savior.

For more than a decade, while his romance with Jolie was at its peak, Pitt sat down for a chat with Parade Magazine and spoke at length about how “pathetic” his relationship and life with Aniston had become.

“I’m satisfied with making true choices and finding the woman I love, Angie, and building a family that I love so much,” he itted. At the time, Jolie was “a great mom” in his eyes, and he was practically gushing about having a partner like her in his life.

Well, all that changed soon. Jolie initially filed for divorce on Sept. 19, 2016, and they were legally declared single in April 2019. The final divorce settlement was finalized and legally signed off by a judge on December 30, 2024, officially bringing an end to the union. In the midst of the legal battle and even now, Pitt has faced shocking allegations of child and spousal abuse. While the accusations couldn’t be filed as criminal charges, his children practically denouncing their father and going as far as to drop his name has done little to exonerate him of the allegations.

Jennifer Aniston is reportedly and understandably “furious” with the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) after her home address was inadvertently disclosed in official documents following a disturbing gate-crash incident at her Bel-Air residence.

The breach of privacy has left the actress shaken and considering relocating to protect her safety, not to mention, revelations about the gate-crash suspect Jimmy Wayne Carwyle‘s disturbing social media posts about the Friends star in the past.

During his initial court appearance on May 8, Carwyle appeared shirtless and disheveled, wrapped in an anti-suicide blanket. He did not speak, and his attorney entered a not guilty plea on his behalf. The judge ordered a mental health evaluation to determine his competency to stand trial. If convicted, Carwyle could face up to three years in state prison.

On May 5, 2025, police arrested Carwyle, 48, from New Albany, Mississippi, after he allegedly rammed his vehicle through the front gates of Aniston’s $21 million Bel-Air mansion. Aniston was home at the time but was unharmed. Aniston’s private security detained Carwyle before LAPD officers took him into custody.

Jennifer Aniston is reportedly searching for three lead stars for her 9 to 5 remake, with sources saying the actress has landed on Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney and Ariana Grande.

The three main characters are perhaps the only ones worthy to replace Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin and Dolly Parton, who starred as mothers in the 1980 cult classic. It’s said that Aniston, who is spearheading the production of the reboot, is looking to tie down the in-demand trio, each of whom has enjoyed unprecedented success over the last 12 months. Both Zendaya and Grande landed Golden Globe nods for their roles in Challengers and Wicked, respectively, while Sweeney is still coasting off the blockbuster behemoth that was Anyone But You.

Apparently, Zendaya and Sweeney are “heavily booked for the next twelve months” and since Aniston reportedly wants to make the movie next year, these scheduling conflicts could be a “problem,” the insider said.

Adding further doubt is the claim that the 9 to 5 reboot is yet to be officially greenlit by production company Twentieth Century Studios, which is why Aniston is eyeing such buzzy actresses in the first place. “Getting a ‘yes’ from one of these actresses, and making them permanent of ‘Team Aniston’, is the key step that Jen is undertaking right now,” the source said, adding that securing even one member of the trio “can add to the momentum of the project.”

It’s no surprise that many TV fans like rewatching their favorite shows during the holidays, and it hardly comes as a major shocker that ever-popular series Friends is at the top of that list.

After seeing a certain reunion special on Max last year, some of them might find themselves wanting to revisit the comedy extravaganza this Christmas season. And considering the fact that Friends boasts some of the greatest holiday episodes of all time — yes, even the one where Monica has a turkey on her head — not to mention some of the most reliably funny and relatable characters in sitcom history, it makes perfect sense as to why television fanatics would be gearing up for a Yuletide marathon.

Now, it might seem impossible to narrow down these fun-filled episodes and completely rank them outright, but it’s certainly a task that we’re up to accomplishing. So without further ado, here are the best Christmas episodes of Friends, ranked from great to even better.

8. “The One with the Inappropriate Sister” (season 5, episode 10)

“The One with the Inappropriate Sister” is the lowest Christmas episode on this list, solely because it barely mentions Christmas at all. The episode features Rachel’s discovery that a guy she wants to date is weirdly close with his sister, which would make for an awkward Christmas with anyone’s prospective boyfriend. The subplot with Joey, Chandler, and Ross really makes this episode, even though it isn’t entirely Christmas-themed. Joey gets frustrated that he isn’t getting any acting work, leading him to write his own script. Ross tries to keep him on task while Chandler wants to have fun by playing games and going to a hockey game.

7. “The One with the Creepy Holiday Card” (season 8, episode 11)

Ross and Mona send each other mixed signals after Mona suggests that they send out a holiday card together. Rachel starts to get pregnancy hormones and subsequently starts to get attracted to every male she sees. Chandler’s boss, Doug, invites Monica and Chandler over for dinner, but Monica doesn’t want to go in the wake of Doug urinating on the ice sculpture at their engagement party. To cover, Chandler says that he and Monica split up, which causes Doug to take him out for drinks at strip clubs. When Chandler comes home, he feels grateful for Monica after seeing what life without her would be like.

6. “The One with the Girl from Poughkeepsie” (season 4, episode 10)

This episode is one of the funnier and more empathetic ones on this list. Ross wants to date a girl, but has to travel a very far distance to do so. The episode ends with him meeting a girl on the train after he falls asleep. Desperate to meet someone closer, he asks her if she lives close, to which she replies that it’s only a boat ride to Nova Scotia.

Monica enlists Joey to help her seem more assertive at work, and Rachel gets annoyed at Chandler’s attempts to set her up. Phoebe brings it home with a Christmas song at the end. Of course, Phoebe wrote the song, so half of it doesn’t make any sense, but she put her heart into it, and isn’t that what Christmas is all about?

5. “The One with Christmas in Tulsa” (season 9, episode 10)

Poor Chandler is separated from Monica for Christmas, as he needs to work in Tulsa, and a work colleague of his makes the moves on him, forcing him to quit. This episode is a clip show, so it’s kind of cheating putting it so high up on this list, but Chandler coming home after quitting drives that Christmas theme home. Monica spends the entire episode rightfully bummed, as she thinks that Chandler is spending Christmas alone at work with an attractive woman. At the end of the episode when he’s standing in the apartment, he tells them that he quit and pretty much makes Monica’s Christmas.

4. “The One Where Rachel Quits” (season 3, episode 10)

Ross breaks a poor girl scout’s leg and sells her Christmas cookies for her, while Monica and Joey “rescue” older Christmas trees in this episode. The Christmas cookie plot is hilarious, with Ross trying everything and ultimately failing to sell the most Christmas cookies. Rachel quits being a waitress at Central Perk so she can finally go into fashion.

At the end of the episode, she gets her new job and is asked to make a cup of coffee by her boss. Phoebe is upset that nobody uses the old Christmas trees at Joey’s new job, and is afraid when they go into the chipper, so Joey and Monica bring the trees back to Monica’s apartment, saving Phoebe’s Christmas.

3. “The One with the Routine” (season 6, episode 10)

Monica and Ross get invited to a taping of Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve and of course make iconic fools of themselves by performing “The Routine.” That plus Rachel, Phoebe, and Chandler scouring Monica’s apartment to find the presents she got everyone makes this episode a classic. Joey’s new roommate invites him, Monica, and Ross to a taping of the show, which Joey hopes doesn’t get in the way of him making his move. It doesn’t, and he goes to kiss her, but the crew yells “cut” just before the ball drops.

Joey tells Janine what he wanted to do, and she its that she was thinking the same thing. The episode ends with them kissing and starting a brief relationship. Meanwhile, Monica and Ross try to do the routine, but Monica moves out of the way at the last second, causing Ross to fall.

2. “The One with Phoebe’s Dad” (season 2, episode 9)

Monica and Rachel’s heat doesn’t work after they tip everyone with cookies instead of money, so they throw a summer Christmas party. The real Christmas spirit comes when Phoebe goes looking for her real father with Joey and Chandler, but gets too nervous and backs out. The gang then es out Christmas gifts, but because they left it too late and were with Phoebe, Joey and Chandler out condoms, cola, and a new car smell. But the real gift Joey gave was managing to turn off Monica and Rachel’s heater.

1. “The One with the Holiday Armadillo” (season 7, episode 10)

The best episode on this list, “The One with the Holiday Armadillo” is a Friends classic. Ross wants to teach Ben about Hanukkah, so he dresses up in the only costume left at the store ⏤ an armadillo! Chandler makes an appearance as Santa Claus and Joey comes in as Superman, all in an attempt to aid Ross in his teaching quest. At the end of the episode, Ben knows that he can celebrate both Christmas and Hanukkah as well, after Ross teaches him all about Hanukkah traditions. This episode is easily the funniest on this list, and truly encapsulates the holiday spirit.

As the 2024 election inches ever closer, celebrity endorsements are flooding in, and they’re almost exclusively backing one candidate.

Jennifer Aniston is just the latest in a long line of famous faces throwing their weight behind Kamala Harris and Tim Walz, but her Halloween endorsement of the democratic candidate came close enough to the election to really stir up voters. Responses to Aniston’s post range vastly, from those in stark of her outspoken assertions to those in vehement opposition, but she certainly got people talking.

Aniston took to Instagram on Oct. 31 to share news that she’s officially cast her ballot in this year’s painfully close election. She also delivered a lengthy post detailing who she voted for, and why she voted the way she did. The caption echoes sentiments shared a thousand times over by people still clinging to their sanity, and pleaded with fellow Americans to make the right choice this November.

The 55-year-old star noted that she cast her vote with a number of issues in mind, including “access to health care, for reproductive freedom, for equal rights, for safe schools, and for a fair economy, but also for SANITY and HUMAN DECENCY.”

Not even to vote for Harris and Walz, necessarily — but dear god, let it be for Harris and Walz — but simply to vote. ‘Still so hard to believe’: Jennifer Aniston marks 1 year anniversary of Matthew Perry’s death with poignant tribute

It has been a year since the death of the beloved actor Matthew Perry, and his Friends family is not leaving his memory to chance. Every chance they get, they’re showering Perry with so much love.

Perry spent years bringing joy to audiences worldwide as Chandler Bing on the hit TV series Friends. On Oct. 18, 2023, Perry was found dead in his Los Angeles home, unresponsive in the hot tub. Perry struggled with alcohol and drug addiction throughout his life, a journey which he chronicled in his 2022 memoir Friends, Lovers and the Big Terrible Thing. His cause of death was ruled as a ketamine overdose, but in the year since then, more information has emerged.

Perry’s Friends co-star, Jennifer Aniston, recently shared a touching tribute to her former co-star, commemorating a year of his death. She took to Instagram to share some touching pictures of herself and the actor over the years, including pictures of them on the set of Friends. She simply captioned the post “1 year” with a patched-up heart emoji and a dove, but the pictures say a thousand words.

Another Friends co-star, Courtney Cox, also posted a tribute to social media. In a post captioned, “Missing you today and always,” she shared a photo of herself and Perry smiling at each other, as well as a group picture of the Friends cast. Both posts were filled with comments expressing grief over his death, and for his co-stars.

Perry was public about his struggles with addiction even before he released his memoir in 2022. Friends, Lovers and the Big Terrible Thing revealed that he had struggled with alcohol addiction from the age of 14 and developed a Vicodin addiction after a jet-ski accident when he was 28. While filming Friends, he struggled with his sobriety with his cast mates even trying to help him with little success. His struggles ultimately led to his untimely death last year.

Now, on the first anniversary of his death, his family is finally speaking about it. Perry’s parents and sisters have all made public statements about his death and the journey of healing from it in the last few weeks. There have also been updates on his death, which was initially ruled as an overdose. Perry was receiving ketamine-assisted psychotherapy to deal with his anxiety, however, it was found that the ketamine dosage from his treatment did not match that in his body at his death. An investigation began in May 2024 to uncover how he obtained the lethal doses of ketamine.

In August, five people were arrested. These are: Perry’s assistant, two of his doctors, and two drug dealers, one of which was a known drug kingpin in Los Angeles. One of the dealers was TV director, Erik Fleming who pleaded guilty and itted to purchasing ketamine for Perry and delivering it through his assistant, Kenneth Iwamasa. Iwamasa also itted to buying ketamine for the actor and even helping him to inject it alongside the rest of the arrested individuals. Attorney Martin Estrada who worked on the case revealed that Perry had bought $55,000 worth of ketamine from the two doctors only two months before his death. They are now awaiting trial.

The Apple TV drama has been on air since Nov. 2019 (for those living under the rock), where Aniston takes up the role of Alex Levy, the co-anchor of a popular morning news program broadcast from Manhattan on the UBA network.

After the third season finished airing in Nov. 2023, Aniston has had a hectic July as production on the fourth season officially shot off on July 8, 2024. To celebrate the news, the Emmy Award-winning actress posted a behind-the-scenes picture alongside co-stars Tig Notaro and Reese Witherspoon on her Instagram. As Aniston, who was casually walking with her phone in her hands, is surprised by the attack, we see the extras moving out of the scene in a hurry.

The series is known to cover various political subjects and current affairs; for example, a significant narrative point in season one revolved around the #MeToo movement. In the later seasons, even more complex subjects like the COVID-19 pandemic, racial inequality, the Capitol uprising, and the Russian invasion of Ukraine, find a place. This has proved challenging for Aniston who had to get drenched in fake black oil for a scene showcasing a public protest.

Though there have been no official announcements regarding the plot of season 4, showrunner Charlotte Stoudt revealed that fans can expect to see the consequences of season 3 play out “in every sense and for every character” ( via The Hollywood Reporter). When Vance recently talked about “childless cat ladies,” he made many Americans shudder in horror and reminded them why he would be the most ill-suited VP this side of Sarah Palin. Television lovers the world over have adored Aniston since her Rachel Green days and have seen her through many great roles (and hairstyles), so they naturally perked up when she decided to speak her mind regarding the Hillbilly Elegy mouthpiece.

According to People, Aniston posted a screenshot from Fox News of JD Vance’s comments on her Instagram Stories, writing, “I truly can’t believe this is coming from a potential VP of The United States. All I can say is… Mr. Vance, I pray that your daughter is fortunate enough to bear children of her own one day” ⏤ because, if his daughter needed IVF ⏤ “you are trying to take that away from her, too.”

As People pointed out, Aniston and her former husband Brad Pitt didn’t have any children. After they got divorced in 2005 and Aniston married Justin Theroux in 2015, fans continued wondering whether or not she would ever choose to start a family. It was only when the actress gave an incredibly vulnerable interview to Allure in 2022 that we learned she couldn’t have children after trying IVF and experiencing infertility.

While we would like to believe that politicians would be understanding of fertility problems and the devastating mental health consequences they can have on women, we know that’s unfortunately not the case with a staggering number of candidates. Aniston was right to call out Vance’s refusal to IVF; as Northwestern Now reported, Vance voted that he didn’t want the Right to IVF Act in June 2024. As reproductive endocrinology and infertility associate professor Dr. Eve Feinberg told the publication, “There’s a war on women more so than there’s a war on abortion.” It’s no wonder why rumors are swirling that the GOP is having second thoughts about Donald Trump’s decision to choose Vance as his running mate.

Aniston’s comments echo what many in prominent positions have said about Vance. Jen O’Malley, the campaign manager for President Joe Biden’s re-election bid (which is now over), said Vance is “proudly anti-choice and wants to take women back decades,” according to CBS News. That’s one of the nicer things said about Vance, who has been called “soul-crushing” and compared to a head of lettuce.

If we’re going to trust someone to talk about IVF and the tragic nature of not being able to have biological children, we’re going to want to hear from someone like Aniston, who has been through this herself. Vance is fully ignoring the very real implications of anti-abortion and anti-IVF policies, which is just one reason why Democrats would argue Trump can’t win the election in November. There’s also a lot more to say on this matter, from the wildly unfair costs of IVF to how insurance doesn’t cover everything (if it covers anything) to how lonely it can be. Let’s hope for all of our sakes that the candidate who actually understands this complex issue wins ⏤ regardless of whether or not her pets are cats.

‘We know who she’s thinking about…’: Jennifer Aniston gets emotional talking about ‘Friends’

The ’90s TV sitcom Friends is beloved in a way that’s so ingrained in our culture it’s hard to imagine a time when it didn’t exist. This became all the more apparent after the death of Matthew Perry, who played Chandler Bing on the show. In a recent interview, Jennifer Aniston, who played Rachel, broke down emotionally when ing the glory days.

Variety has an ongoing interview series called “Actors on Actors,” and Aniston spent some time with fellow Emmy winner Quinta Brunson for a poignant conversation around the show’s 30th anniversary.

Toward the end of the wide-reaching interview, we hear a producer off-screen direct Brunson to ask Aniston “what it’s like to watch Friends now.” The question send Aniston on a journey and she immediately got emotional.

Brunson asked, “Do you want a minute? We don’t have to talk about it.” Aniston said, ““No, sorry, I just started thinking about—,” and after Brunson commiserated, she said, “I’m okay. It’s happy tears.”

Later in the talk, she shares a nice memory of Perry. She said the two were “having lunch somewhere” and decided to sneak into the hair salon where Lisa Kudrow was “getting her hair colored.” Aniston said Kudrow was “in the sink” and she took the nozzle and started “washing her hair. It definitely flew out of control, and that was unfortunate. But the excitement we had, it feels like yesterday.”

Aniston said the fact that the show has had “this long, wonderful life” and still “means a lot to people” is a gift that “all five of us—all six of us—we never could imagine.”

She said she still keeps in with her costars and that she “talked on FaceTime with Court[eney Cox] last night for an hour,” and also speaks with “Lisa and the boys” all the time. It’s a “family forever,” she said.

Perry was very open about his battles with drug addiction over the years, something he described in harrowing detail in his hit memoir Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing. In his book, he wrote “When I die, I don’t want Friends to be the first thing that’s mentioned—I want helping others to be the first thing that’s mentioned. And I’m going to live the rest of my life proving that.”

Aniston also recently honored her former co-star by asking people to take the time to donate to Perry’s foundation, which is focused on battling addiction.

“For #GivingTuesday please me and Matty’s family in ing his foundation – which is working to help those suffering with addiction ,” Aniston wrote on her Instagram story over a photo of Perry laughing. “He would have been grateful for the love.”
