If you’ve seen any clip of Drew Barrymore in recent months that isn’t her relishing in a rain storm, it’s probably one of her getting rather close to her talk show guests. 

The Hollywood icon launched her daytime chat show, The Drew Barrymore Show, in 2020, and every episode since has seen her adopt an interview style that has caught the ire of fans. No matter who she’s interviewing, the E.T. star seems to be unaware of her guest’s sense of personal space, whether she’s patting Oprah’s hair, cuddling Justin Long, or sitting on the lap of Natasha Lyonne. Oh, she also once showed her bare leg to Kathryn Hahn.  

While most of those guests have appeared largely unbothered by Barrymore’s resistance to personal space, Martha Stewart seems to have taken a stance against the touchy-feely interviewing quirk, as her recent appearance on The Drew Barrymore show proves. The celebrity chef and best friend of Snoop Dogg (as her tombstone will read) stopped by the talk show to promote her new cookbook, which marks her 100th overall. 

While chatting about the cookbook, Barrymore can be seen sidling up to Stewart with a mischievous look in her eye, before asking the legendary homemaker whether there’s anything that makes her feel “soft and gooey.” After agreeing that “it’s nice” to be “treated like a lady,” Stewart looks confused as Barrymore proceeds to touch her shoulder and stroke her arm. Since they’ve grown accustomed to this kind of hands-on interviewing approach, the audience can be heard letting out a laugh, prompting a knowing look from Stewart. 

Then, perhaps mustering the courage of all the former guests too timid to say something in the past, Stewart promptly rejected Barrymore’s arm stroke and declared that she is “the wrong gender” for that kind of advance. After that, Stewart playfully pushes the Charlie’s Angels star away, prompting an exaggerated fall back onto the couch from Barrymore. Naturally, the hilarious exchange spawned equally hilarious fan reactions, with many X s sharing GIFs that recalled Stewart’s not-so-graceful push. 

Others questioned why Barrymore seems to “LOVE to invade people’s personal space all the time,” and commended Stewart for “having boundaries.” The overwhelming sentiment, however, reflected the playfulness of the pair’s exchange, with one commenter saying they “love the dynamic between these two icons.” These kinds of responses have become commonplace when netizens discuss Barrymore, to the point where countless memes and entire Reddit threads have been dedicated to her tactile interviewing style. 

The actress herself even addressed the commentary earlier this year, acknowledging in an interview with Entertainment Tonight that her interview style is “not everyone’s favorite.” Barrymore said the lack of physical interaction during the COVID pandemic had forced her to retroactively make up for lost touching time. While she itted that it is “not my strong point,” Barrymore did vow to “try to practice physical distance” between herself and her guests in future interviews.

Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman have been friends for a long time and the press tour for Deadpool & Wolverine was better thanks to their bromance, as well as their friendship with director Shawn Levy. As we all know Reynolds is the ultimate relatable guy, and his famous neighbor came to challenge that as Martha Stewart is after Reynolds.

The two have been friends and neighbors for a long time and, during an appearance on Bilt Rewards’ Rent Free game show, Stewart revealed that he’s not funny. “You want to know something? He’s not so funny in real life. No, he’s not so funny. He’s very serious,” Stewart said.

“I’d disagree with her,” Reynolds joked about her claim. “But I tried that once. The woman is unexpectedly spry. She really closed the gap after a mile or so.” Naturally, Jackman couldn’t stay away from the fun. Jumping in the original conversation, the Wolverine star wrote, “Finally someone says it.”

Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman are notorious for poking fun at each other and this, as well, was in good fun. However, this didn’t stop fans from speculating and saying Jackman is funnier.

Other people took the claims at face value. Following Lively’s backlash for promoting the domestic violence-themed drama It Ends With Us as a flowers and romance film, Reynolds escaped the event unscathed. However, after the internet decided Lively was the ultimate “mean girl,” they came for her husband, too.

Ryan Reynolds’ career has included many genres but he has made a name for himself as the sarcastic guy everyone loves. He has proven time and time again he could excel in other genres, evidenced by the horror films 2005’s The Amityville Horror, the 2010 suspense drama Buried, and the 2014 slasher The Voices.

However, he is mostly typecast in roles where he seems to play himself, more so since kicking off the Deadpool series in 2016. Movies like 2019’s Pokémon: Detective Pikachu, 2021’s Free Guy, and Red Notice show a variation of the same character. Maintaining his funny guy persona is paramount for his career, which allows him to star in blockbusters while focusing on his family life as well, so the new rumors about him not being funny might not be true, but you know what they say, there’s no smoke without fire.

Ryan Reynolds’ equally famous neighbor has come out to expose the biggest lie about the Hollywood actor, shattering the carefully constructed facade he had been maintaining in public.

While appearing on Bilt Rewards’ “Rent Free” game show for November, Martha Stewart, 83, addressed the most common misconception about her next-door neighbor.

“You want to know something? He’s not so funny in real life. No, he’s not so funny. He’s very serious,” the lifestyle guru told Bilt Rewards founder and CEO Ankur Jain of the 48-year-old actor. 

For years, Reynolds has been a staple in comedy films because of his supposedly naturally silly personality. He has starred in Spirited, The Proposal, and all of the Deadpool movies — playing roles designed to make viewers laugh and even the not-so-glowing reputation that he basically plays himself in his every film.

Ryan has done so many comedy films in the past, that it’s almost criminal not to think of him as a funny person in real life. But then here comes Martha, who is the bearer of the shocking news. 

“He’s a good actor. He can act funny, but he isn’t funny,” the seasoned cookbook author doubled down on her first statement before adding, “Maybe we can get to be funny again.”

Stewart’s comment on Reynolds came after getting asked to name the most fun celebrities to hang out with. For her first guesses, she mentioned Reynolds, Brad Pitt, George Clooney, and her BFF Snoop Dogg. 

Asked to explain why she chose them, Martha said she assumed Ryan was on the list because “he covers himself up in his movies.” Meanwhile, she said she would love to hang out with both Pitt and Clooney, but even more so with George because he’s “really nice to hang out with.”

When asked again to name her top picks for the question, the famous lifestyle entrepreneur surprised Jain by dropping out Reynolds from the selection and instead naming Taylor Swift, Snoop, and Clooney for her final answers. 

“I’m going to get in trouble. He’s my neighbor,” Stewart said after leaving him out of her official answers to one of the game show’s questions.

Martha has been friends for years with Ryan and his wife, Blake Lively. Their unlikely closeness developed after the Hollywood couple bought a home next to Stewart’s 153-acre property in Bedford, N.Y.

“She moved into my neighborhood a couple of years ago with Ryan — before they got married they bought a house right around the corner from my house. And they started to come over, not to borrow sugar, but just as friends,” Martha talked to HuffPost about the couple in 2014. 

Although the pair eventually switched to a more private home, they still lived close to Stewart’s place, so they remained neighbors and good friends through the years. She has even disclosed that both Ryan and Blake are very “friendly” people.

But is Stewarts in trouble now since Reynolds has caught wind of her statement?

Responding to her assertion of him lacking humor with his unique brand of funny? Or just proving to his neighbor that he can be funny when he wants to be? Anyway, whether Stewart manages to see the actor’s sense of humor or not, his response managed to erase what tiny doubt the culinary queen sowed with her words.

I’m still waiting for a documentary about the magnificent Ina Garten (at least we have her fall 2024 memoir), but until that day comes, Netflix’s documentary Martha will suffice. Although having a documentary celebrating your professional life and powerful personality is a dream for many, Martha Stewart didn’t have a good time watching it.

In an interview with The New York Times, Stewart said she’s happy young women like the message of the movie, however, she’s not thrilled because she hoped it would tell the story of “a strong woman standing up for herself and living through horror as well as some huge success.” I’d say that Martha does tell that tale, but according to the woman herself, it doesn’t. She said the doc is “me boasting about inner strength and any of that crap” but “should be about showing that you can get through life and still be yourself.”

Okay, so we might be splitting hairs here about the actual message of the documentary. But putting that aside, Stewart doesn’t like that director R.J. Cutler chose classical music for the score instead of rap, which is what she wanted. Given that Snoop Dogg and Stewart are pals and even hosted two cooking shows together, her request isn’t surprising. I’m genuinely confused why classical music was supposedly a better idea since that is a fairly unexciting choice.

What else was Stewart concerned about? She wasn’t pleased that Cutler didn’t include her fun anecdotes about attorney Alan Dershowitz, how much she enjoys travel, or her grandkids. She also said “it was just shocking” that the filmmaker didn’t put more of her videos and pictures in the movie. Most of all, however, she didn’t appreciate that her financial scandal was given so much screentime. She said “I considered it a vacation” and didn’t think of it as very significant. I love Martha’s candor, but I can’t imagine someone making a documentary about her and not mentioning in great length that period of her life. Viewers would have had a lot of negative things to say if that had been the case.

Well, even though Stewart wasn’t happy, fans enjoyed getting to know this cookbook author/TV star/Sports Illustrated model/incredible woman better. Viewers shared their adoration of Martha on X, with one writing “what a boss” and adding that the star “has lived a remarkable life and I found her to be irable.”

The “boss” comments continued, and several more people posted that they appreciated her influential journey through the culinary and lifestyle landscape.

The mogul didn’t loathe absolutely everything about Martha. She itted “I hate those last scenes” where she’s gardening, along with part two of the movie, but she enjoys “the first half.”

Stewart has never minced words, whether talking about older celebrity dads or whether she and the Barefoot Contessa get along, so of course she’s going to share her real feelings on Martha. Fans wouldn’t want it any other way, right? If she didn’t have her own POV, she would be boring and forgettable. Sure, maybe she’s not exactly doing Martha a favor by being so tough on it, and if you want people to watch a movie about you, you should be more positive, but at least now you really want to watch the doc and see what you think of the second part, right?

Golden Bachelorette star Joan Vassos has clapped back at Martha Stewart for taking a dig at the 24 men who competed for her heart ⏤ and her final rose ⏤ one season 1 of the Bachelor Nation hit.

The drama unfolded during Stewart’s Oct. 20 appearance on Watch What Happens Live. When host Andy Cohen asked the Food Network star if she’d ever consider looking for love on The Golden Bachelorette, Stewart replied, “The guys aren’t hot enough.” The cooking maven went as far as to say she’d never do the show even if there was a $1 million prize on the table.

Vassos, 61, quickly got defensive about Stewart’s comments, telling Access Hollywood, “I guess Martha Stewart didn’t watch or didn’t see what I saw in them. Maybe you have to be in person. They are special guys.”

“I feel like everyone’s falling in love with them. I’m like, ‘What’s wrong with you, Martha,” Vassos said. The Rockville, Maryland native thinks the network did “a great job” picking the 24 men who competed for her final rose. “Dating is hard out there and I had a great group of guys,” she said. “She (Stewart) doesn’t know ‘em like I know ‘em. I got to know the inside of them as well as the outside.”

Vassos DM’d Stewart over her comments, but it’s unclear whether or not she received a reply. “I don’t know if she’s read it yet, but I did,” Vassos said after sending the message, adding that Stewart should be invited to the finale to meet each of her final men in person and see if she has a change of heart.

ABC cast Vassos, a widow, mother, and grandmother, as the first Golden Bachelorette after she left season 1 of The Golden Bachelor in the middle of filming to help her daughter navigate some personal issues. While she didn’t find love with the Golden Bachelor Gerry Turner, the reality television star said she was hopeful about finding love the second time around. “You share a lot of really intimate details about your life, like emotional things,” Vassos told E News in September. “And so I formed love connections with a lot of the men, not all of them romantic. But when you share those kind of really personal things — honestly, you’re gonna see this in a really good way, but a really emotional journey for everybody, the men and myself — that you do form really deep connections with people.”

Sean “Diddy” Combs has maintained his innocence in the sex trafficking and and racketeering allegations filed against him. But some think that this old video of him sharing what his final words would be before he dies is a foreshadowing of his unfortunate fate in jail.

The video comes courtesy of VH1’s Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party taken in October 2017. The Bad Boy Records founder, 54, along with his former protege Usher, and La La Anthony, sat down with hosts Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg for a quick game, in which they each had to read and answer what was written on a card. Stewart explained:

Everyone at this table has been forced to make tough decisions and today, it doesn’t get any easier. I’m going to ask you some more difficult things. In front of me we have a stack of cards that contain a scenario with a missing piece. You’ll have to make the tough decision to fill in the blanks.

Snoop picked up the deck for Diddy to read saying, “Diddy, that’s on you nephew, take the top card.” The rapper read his card out loud, “When I die I want my last words to be…” A quick pause for thought and he answered without hesitation:

I did it.

He then threw the card in the air and put his hands up as everyone, except Usher, cheered and clapped at his response. The 46-year-old “Burn” singer, who sat across from his former mentor at the table, didn’t seem impressed.

It’s unclear what Diddy meant when he said “I did it.” He could be referencing to how he achieved his fame and success in the music and entertainment industry. His former publicist Rob Shuter, who was under his employ from 2002 to 2004, recently revealed that Combs “was obsessed with power and staying famous.” The Harlem-born rapper could also be referring to how he has helped several artists achieve stardom through his record label.

There’s a lot to be gleaned from those three little words. But the video resurfaced amid the rapper’s legal woes. Aside from the sex trafficking and racketeering allegations, he has also been accused of sexually molesting minors as young as nine years old.

His saying, “I did it,” now takes on a horrifying meaning in the context of its probability of being connected to his alleged crimes. The online chatter about its relevance to his predisposition also couldn’t be any different.

One wrote on TikTok, “That’s a confession” and another chimed in, “his didn’t age well.” One more said, “Welp…there you go” and a fourth quipped, “We know you did! That’s the problem.” Over at X, one commented: “So he is pretty much itting that he knew what he was doing was wrong, but he didn’t care anyway he just wanted to do.”

Diddy’s legal team has called the allegations “meritless” and that the situation has turned into a “reckless media circus.” His attorney, Erica Wolff, stated: “Mr. Combs emphatically and categorically denies as false and defamatory any claim that he sexually abused anyone, including minors. He looks forward to proving his innocence and vindicating himself in court, where the truth will be established based on evidence, not speculation.” Diddy was arrested on Sept. 16 and is now booked at the Metropolitan Detention Center in New York awaiting federal trial.

It is miraculous to think about how long Martha Stewart has been culturally relevant and she still has no plans for slowing down. The first self-made female billionaire in America has been an icon from the onset.

This is the subject of Netflix’s new documentary, aptly titled Martha. Now in her 80s, the television personality continues to reinvent herself in a way no homemaker has before. In her early life, she ed herself as a model and even a stock broker on Wall Street. But it was the creation of Martha Stewart Living that put her on the map. With a reputation for being a hardlined businesswoman and capitalist, Stewart never allowed herself to fail and is irable in her unabashed commitment to her brand. She applies her confident philosophy to all corners of her life, including personal, as she states in the trailer for Martha.

“Young women, listen to my advice, if you’re married and your husband starts to cheat on you, he’s a piece of s***. Get out of that marriage.”

Following the statement, a producer off-camera notes: “Didn’t you have an affair early on?”

Martha doesn’t miss a beat in her response, stating: “Yeah, but I don’t think Andy ever knew about that.”

Stewart and her husband Andrew Stewart were married for 30 years before officially getting divorced in 1990. At the time, Stewart acknowledged the difficulty of the divorce since she was the first in her family to dissolve a marriage (via People Magazine). But like anything that the pop culture icon does, she spins her story into gold.

She refuses to be destroyed and doesn’t apologize to anyone for it. She is an anomaly in the industry, making her one of the most fascinating figures of the past few decades. Martha Stewart threw some shade this morning on Today with Hoda and Jenna, mostly reserved for Al Pacino and Robert De Niro.

During her visit to the show, Stewart discussed everything from her love life, collecting baskets, and why she seriously dislikes working remotely. She took the time to be a part of a segment called “All Rise For Judge Martha” where Hoda and Jenna ask her about a variety of other things so that she can give her judgment.

Toward the end of the segment, she gave her honest response to a question about Al Pacino and Robert De Niro. First, when Jenna Busch asked her about the ongoing online debate about which of the actors were hotter — young Robert De Niro or young Al Pacino — Stewart said, “Brad Pitt beats them all,” before actually answering specifically, “Robert De Niro was not as attractive as Al Pacino as a young boy.”

Hoda Kotb then asked Stewart what her verdict is on both Pacino and De Niro having children, considering Pacino is 83 years old and De Niro is 79. De Niro was on the show last week and gave his response to Pacino’s news as producers gave De Niro a gift for the newborn.

81-year-old Martha Stewart, who was praised last month for being on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition, wasn’t quick to compliment the two men her age on their looks. She replied, “I just saw both of them and they’re like…alright.” She made sure that her “alright” was spoken in a less than complimentary way, almost with a shrug of the shoulders. It’s as if she was struggling to be positive. It’s a shame she couldn’t afford them the same positivity people afforded her for posing in a swimsuit at what is basically the same age as De Niro and Pacino.

Of course, her lack of positivity was motivated by the discussion being about parenting at such an age. “They’re a little old,” she said, unable to contain herself. Hoda and Jenna laughed at her response.

Not enough shade? No problem. She decided to rhetorically ask, “Don’t you want to see your kids graduate from college?”

Martha didn’t seem too enthused about Al and Robert being fathers at this time in their respective lives and wasn’t able to offer her congratulations, but at least she ended with her best well wishes. “Good luck to both of them,” she concluded.

Stewart is likely just saying what most people are thinking, but with a touch of cruel shade. Stewart is on a campaign of criticism, recently throwing shade at for the country letting workers take a month’s vacation per year.

Maybe De Niro and Pacino can pose in bathing suits next just to see Martha lose her mind.

Media mogul Martha Stewart ignited a firestorm of criticism with her inflammatory and factually incorrect comments on ’s economy and remote work in general.

Per CNN, Stewart slammed for providing 30 days of paid vacation for workers and claiming that it hurt the economy:

The interview was to mark the 81 year-old lifestyle guru’s debut appearance on the cover of Sports Illustrated’s annual swimsuit issue, which was once a celebrated publication event in the days before the internet made pictures of women in various states of undress widely available. Truly these are halcyon days of empowerment for any person, no matter what age they are, provided they are also rich and famous.

Stewart’s appearance has attracted much conversation, with readers so impressed with how naturally youthful and wrinkle-free the octogenarian’s face is that she’s had to insist the look was accomplished with no surgical assistance.

“There’s no relaxing really going on,” says Stewart in the interview, discussing her various projects, which include cookbooks and her show Martha Cooks. Although that show is on the Roku Channel, meaning she can probably relax while making the show knowing that very few people are actually watching it.

Martha Stewart turned heads this week when the 81-year-old posed for the cover of Sports Illustrated.

For context, Stewart — who appeared in various form-fitting bathing suits — was featured in the magazine’s swimsuit edition, making her the oldest cover model. As the Martha and Friends host shared the multiple images on her social media pages, it instantly went viral because many of Stewart’s fans were stunned at how youthful she looked.

In a recent interview with Variety, Stewart opened up about her overall experience posing for Sports Illustrated and some of the remarks she received regarding her photos. In the discussion, Stewart revealed that the magazine shoot was a life-changing experience, and she was proud to help older women “reimagine their future.” 

When the topic transitioned to the public reaction to her images, Stewart disclosed that while the majority of the response was good, some people claimed that her photos appeared to be “over touched” with airbrushing, which she debunked the allegations. The mother of one said as she praised the final product, 

“They’re very good. There are only a few naysayers saying, ‘The pictures are over-retouched.’ But they’re not. They are incredibly accurate pictures. I was really pleased that there was not much airbrushing.”

Further in the interview, Stewart shared details about how she maintains her physical health. Stewart explained that contrary to popular belief, she has not had any plastic surgery, and her ageless appearance stems from eating well, taking vitamin supplements regularly, drinking green daily, and being “careful in the sun.” While addressing the plastic surgery chatter, Stewart stated,

“Well, it’s not true. I’ve had absolutely no plastic surgery whatsoever. I have very healthy, good hair. I drink green juice every day. I take my vitamins. I eat very healthfully. I have very good skin doctors. I’m very careful in the sun. I wear hats and I wear sunblock every single day.”

When asked if she plans to do any minor plastic surgery in the future, Stewart revealed that even though she wouldn’t mind considering doing “certain fillers” occasionally, the one thing that she will steer away from is Botox.

“Every now and then there are certain fillers that I can do for a little line here or there, but I hate Botox. It’s a weird thing for me. I really and truly don’t do a lot.”

But the friendship between the two celebs has been going on for well over a decade now, since the rapper first ed the famous cook on her show, but their exploits have moved well beyond the kitchen. November 2008: They meet on The Martha Stewart Show

The famous west coast rapper ed one of America’s most famous television chefs as he was doing publicity for his short-lived reality television show Snoop Dogg’s Father Hood. The pair infamously had hilarious chemistry as they made Stewart’s mashed potatoes recipe and joked about Snoop’s unique lyrics and way of talking. They were both happy to discuss how fun it had been in interviews later, with Snoop even saying “Cooking with Martha just seemed like the right space to be in.”

December 2009: Snoop’s return

The next year Snoop was invited back on to The Martha Stewart Show for the Christmas special, and it was a brilliant episode. The pair made green-colored brownies, a likely allusion to Snoop’s famous love of cannabis and the ubiquity of brownies as a form of edibles, although the rapper joked it was because green was the color of environmentalists. The musician then gave the audience a free style rap, winking at the weed reference again, and leading to a cheeky quip from Stewart that they’d “add the stuff” after filming.

November 2010: Twitter banter

In the wake of the news that Prince William of the U.K. was getting married, Snoop took to Twitter to make a joke about being invited to the bachelor party for the one-day king, and made sure to mention Stewart in his gag.

November 2014: Snoop cires Martha as his inspiration

It seems the friendship had deepened as Snoop tweeted to his millions of followers that Stewart deserved some of the credit for his new candle line, as she’d inspired his creativity. His shoutout had a much more professional-looking picture attached than the previous one, though, this time of a candle from the range in question next to some flowers.

March 2015: The pair roast Justin Bieber

Here’s where things get really funny. In March 2015, both Stewart and Snoop were two of a number of huge celebs who spoke onstage at The Comedy Central Roast of Justin Bieber. The show, hosted by Kevin Hart, was wall-to-wall laughs, and Stewart even got into the spirit with a cutting barb toward her famous friend, telling Snoop:

“Snoop, I see that you have been following my beauty regimen. You would never know that Snoop Dogg is 43 now, which is three times as long as actual dogs live and twice as long as most of his friends.”

Snoop would later tell NBC that Martha was “the funniest roaster that night.”

June 2015: Stewart tells Seth Meyers about getting high (accidentally) with Snoop

Stewart ed the talk show host on his show, Late Night with Seth Meyers, where she discussed how she’d been spending time with Snoop once and accidentally gotten stoned thanks to ive smoking:

“I got high just sitting there. Snoop had all those, you don’t call them ts, you call them something else. Big fat ones. We had to sit on the stage for four hours, and the secondary smoke is just as powerful as primary smoke. So I was totally high by the time I got to that microphone.”

July 2016: The friends go on a game show

Just over a year later, the pair went on the revival of the classic game show $100,000 Pyramid as a team, absolutely dominating the word association game. Snoop was impressive as he worked out a list of weed-related , and Stewart knew exactly what to say to get the best out of him.

September 2016: Snoop does a Rolling Stone interview where he praises his friend

With the news that Snoop and Stewart would be hosting their own television show, Martha and Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party, the pair went on a slew of publicity stops. Snoop was charged with doing an interview with Rolling Stone, where he said “I’ve never met anyone like Martha Stewart. When we come together, it’s a natural combination of love, peace, and harmony.” Sweet words for a good friend.

October 2016: Games on The Ellen DeGeneres Show

While appearing on the talk show together, the pair played a quick game of “Never Have I Ever” alongside fellow guest Anna Kendrick and host Ellen DeGeneres, where they both revealed they’d used their fame to get out of trouble before, as well as a couple of racier stories too. Snoop also, unsurprisingly, revealed he’d been stoned while on a talk show.

November 2016: Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party premieres on VH1

The culmination of eight years of friendship was this VH1 series where the pair hosted celebrity friends for cocktails and dinner, as well as good conversation. They had a number of guests during the two season run, including Jason Derulo and Kathy Griffin.

October 2018: Snoop gets a very special forward for his cookbook

The rapper released his cookbook From Crook to Cook: Platinum Recipes From Tha Boss Dogg’s Kitchen and Stewart was kind enough to contribute a forward:

“Snoop and I have a special bond that dates back to when he first appeared on The Martha Stewart Show in 2008. Our relationship was born from our connection to food as we whipped up some cognac mashed potatoes and green brownies. Working with Snoop in the kitchen has been a remarkable experience for me. Not only has he taught me new lingo and cultural references, he surprised me with his unique cooking techniques and recipes.”

March 2019: The friends return to television

In a commercial announcing a spinoff to their old VH1 series called Potluck Party Challenge, Snoop and Stewart recreated the famous scene from Titanic where Rose tells Jack she’s flying. The new show had the friends competing against other celebrities in a cooking competition, with a special guest judge choosing the winners every week.

August 2020: Stewart shows Snoop how to garden

During an episode of her show Martha Knows Best, Stewart called up her rapper friend and talked him through the mechanics of potting a tomato plant. She was playful as she told him: “You have planted things before, Snoop. I can tell.”

December 2020: A zoom baking event

During an event sponsored by Salesforce, Stewart and Snoop livestreamed as they tly baked and decorated Christmas cookies, with the television chef later saying on Instagram: “It was great fun! And the cookies were amazing.”

February 2021: The Puppy Bowl gets some new co-hosts

Possibly the most adorable entry on this timeline, Stewart and Snoop worked together again at the 2021 Puppy Bowl, an annual event that airs just before the Super Bowl. They both picked their separate puppy teams, many of whom were resuces, and the cute event went off without a hitch.

April 2021: The friendship is tested during a talk show

On an episode of The Tonight Show hosted by Jimmy Fallon, the friends played a game called the “Best Friends Challenge,” where they had to write down answers to questions about each other. As it was done remotely, there was definitely no cheating, and although a lot of laughs were had they didn’t exactly score so high.

February 2022: A return to the Puppy Bowl

The pair came back to once again host the incredibly cute 2022 Puppy Bowl, and seemingly couldn’t have been happier, with Snoop saying “I’m honored to be co-hosting the only sporting event on the planet guaranteed to raise the ‘woof’ with the magnificent Martha Stewart.”

June 2022: Snoop is the first guest on his friend’s new podcast

Stewart decided to launch The Martha Stewart Podcast and had her rapper friend as an honorary first guest. Since then she’s had politicians, celebs, designers, and artists on, but we have no doubt that first chat with Snoop was a highlight.

February 2023: A permanent reminder of the friendship

In a tongue in cheek commercial for the shoe brand Sketchers, Stewart pretended to get a tattoo of her famous friend on her shoulder. She committed to the joke with a cheeky Instagram post, before it was revealed it was all for the ad.
