From the diamond earring lost at sea to the physical confrontation that we’ve all seen on our screens, The Kardashians‘ Kim and Kourtney are understatedly a complicated pair. The sister duo has, unarguably, the most contentious relationship out of the whole Kardashian-Jenner bunch, becoming more and more noticeable not only to their family but also to their fans who are often forced to pick a side: Team Kim or Team Kourtney.
In almost every single episode of fans were faced with the most recent first-world problem, involving Kim and Kourtney and the luxury brand Dolce & Gabbana. And here’s what happened.
Why was Kourtney angry with Kim in The Kardashians?
For all those who have been loyally tuning in for the weekly episode of the richest reality tv family, the sister shenanigans and feuds are still luring fans in. This time, the discussion involved not only the two oldest sisters but also Travis Barker – Kourtney’s husband – and even Dolce & Gabbana. In the end, it all came down to the moment when Kortney accused Kim of using her wedding as a business opportunity.
This accusation dates back to the couple’s wedding back in May 2022, when they celebrated their union in a beautiful ceremony in Italy, attended by friends and family. At the time, Kourtney wore an inspired ’90s Dolce & Gabbana wedding dress. Only a mere few months after the wedding, her younger sister Kim flew to Italy in celebration of her newfound collaboration with the luxury brand.
Feeling as if Kim had taken her older sister’s nuptials as the opportunity to establish a new deal with the luxury brand, especially after Kourtney wore the bespoke wedding dress, the family was now yet again feuding in front of the cameras. In the episode, Kourtney confessed to feeling as if Kim was just “copying [her] wedding,” the Poosh founder wholeheartedly believed that during her special day, Kim was already working on establishing a new campaign with the brand.
“While we were at our wedding, I guess Kim was having these conversations with Dolce that I didn’t know about, and she had called me and said she was doing a Skims collab with Dolce & Gabbana.”
Naturally, Kim denied all accusations, telling the camera that she “couldn’t have been more mindful” about the campaign with the brand, and even saying she had avoided incorporating specific looks into the collaboration repertoire “out of respect for Kourtney.”
As it tends to happen, the sister’s feuds always end up on the same accusations: jealousy, money-grabbing schemes, and competition. Despite the continuous arguments and issues that no one relates to, the sisters always overcome their struggles, until it all comes back up once again.
